Every time i shut off my vehicle it takes awhile to shut off. i checked the ecu and eccs and ign relays and i have a residual 2v in the whole system. Then when the car is ready i hear a click and the lights on the cluster go bye bye

Cluster lights that are on:

fasten seat belt and brake also door open (when i leave the door open)

where do these items get power is there a relay somewhere? Don't get me wrong i know it's a relay but where to start.

Also, is there a starter relay in the system besides the igniton relay?

do you mean these lights stay on even after the car is off and the key is out of the ignition?mine did the same thing. i just made sure that everything is plugged in and they worked normally.

or it could have been because i wired them into the RB ECU i cant remember. anyway. i fixed it using one of those 2 methods.

no no. ign off key out and i still have power on. then i get the little ding ding sound for the key still in and a couple of seconds later i hear a click and all power goes off even to the ecu. i figure it's a relay but i unplugged the eccs and ign relays and it was still happening.

Same thing here. I here when ever you do the 8-step that happens. Anyone know a fix? When I turn my lights on anff real quick or hit the blinkers they will go off.

yea something with his (opensource) wiring is causing that problem, we have had it happen to a handfull of different cars and arent entirley sure why it happens.

i have to pull the 75amp fuse -black one- before it dissappears. but i switched ignition and eccs relays and it went away for awhile. then it came back. this was a series of on and off. but mine looks like when i shut it off i still had 1.23vdc hanging around in the system. untill i pull the black fuse

I hooked up my Greedy E-01 and E-manage today and guess what. All those problems people are having getting there gauge cluster to turn off (including me) are no gone. The electronics shut off when they are supposed to. No delays and nothing ghetto like having to diconnect the battery.

what pins and what ecu wires were cut? have you done a write up for everyone else?

is there a specific emanage for the rb25det and if so where to buy. were there extra sensors or relays things like that?

The E-manage is for any 12v system. It's compatible with Nissan, Mitsu, Honda, Mazda, ect. In the manual it shows you how to set up the system to your motor. There is not really a write up to do. You just read the directions. There is one part I am stuck on. The wires that have been spliced so far are as follows. Pins #59,60,7,27

on the ign and eccs relay are both orange wires connected to eachother and going to pin 16 on ecu or different?

the reason the indicators dont turn off appear to be ecause they arent getting a signal from the ECU, i hooked up all of my indicators and they all turn off with the car now. the ebrake indicator as well (even tho its always hooked up)

well that could be a start. i haven't done that just yet. i'm still working on finishing that up.
