ok so i was actually at enterprise renting a truck for my tech to drive to carlisle in...

anyways when we lleft the lot, i didnt realize bc i was right behind him.. he went over a little curb thing btwn 2 lots...

I went over the same thing.. the front i didnt hear scrape.. but the back sure did.. i got out and saw my rear bumper on the drivers side was no longer attached... one of the mounting holes (the closest to the wheel well and farthest to the top) snapped.. and instead of an O its in the shape of a C (the remainder snapped off)..

it doesnt look too bad and we r gonna work on it tonight for a bit... but i just wanted to see if anyone has any advice... no pics.. i couldnt bring myself to do it...

Ive done it before, my coupe got hit in the rear driverside and the whole fascia popped inward. What exactly are you wondering? I guess pics would definantly help for sure, but I don't really think I understand the question. As far as getting the whole thing off, its really easy.

Check out blakes how to on removing the taillights,

Then in the fsm theres a great diagram on removing it.

o jeez... a washer and a nissan tech... +5 min..looks like nothing happened!

Thats what it looks like ironically enough... mine isnt as ripped off as this one is.. but thats supposed to be an O shaped mount that screws into the quarterpanel/taillight area... he took the bolt out, put a washer btwn the bolt and the missing part of the O... bolted it back on... good as new!

that happend to me and i didnt want to take to the stealership so me and my friend did ourselves.. and we put this circle thing put it on the screw and put it between the "C" and the screw and made it REALLY REALLY TIGHT and i never had a problem with it since...i forgot what the little thing was calld but t was a little circle thing....

edit: its called a washer i think...i just put it and never gave me problems...i know it was a lil cheep but hey rather do that than spend alot of money to get this little thing fixed
