almost everything azhitman said was true except for the part about escalades. my opinion is that escalades are among the best suvs in the world. the only suvs better are range rover and ofcourse the hummer.

Killa, when you say, "better", how do you mean?

Jeep Cherokee, Toyota Land Cruiser, 4Runner, Samurai, Pathfinder are ALL "better" off-roaders than an Escalade by far. Matter of fact, you're talking about a Tahoe with 400 lbs of frosting and poor tires, so even the base Tahoe would outdo it in rough terrain. I'd rank it far lower in the hierarchy of 4x4's than that...

It serves its purpose well though - To catch the attention of some young ghetto-booty. :rolleyes

I've rode in an Escalade. nothing too fancy, not worth the money. nice sound system though.
