Just got my car painted. 350z daytona blue on a 89 hatch. And it looks pretty. Alll i need now is tints RIMS lowering springs and externally im set. Then goin for the full momma SR20. Just wnated ot get some things out of the way so all i need to focus on is engine stuff

Black240: I'm not trying to be critical of his project. Of course he can do what he wants to his car, I'm just thinking that instead of making it bling, he could improve the driving experience with some go-fast parts. It's my opinion that a car which could be called a true *driver's car* should be built as such.

well i decided to do the paint job first only cause it was disgusting. NORMALLY i would have gone straight to an sr20 but i just wanted this done asap. It really was a nasty sightto be seen scratched up and dented. But the rest of the car was mint. TRust me i have performance in mind just wanted to learn all i could about sr20's b4 i jump into one. DOnt worry me and my crew are very against rice and apc and all those companies

yea, count me in too, im always up for free beer!!, o yae, nice ride, and good idea about learning more about sr2os FIRST, my friend has a 99 eclipse and wants a 4g63 by summer, yet he couldnt change his own oil if he had to!!, just as a side note, i wanted to paint my o2 alitma laguna seca sunset orange!!< like the ones on the Zs!!, and hey, it WONT viod my warranty!!!!

speaking of paint jobs...how much do they cost? my car is ugly... once i am done with my swap and front end conversion, paint is next on the list

there's an old boy that brings his chopped '50 Merc into my shop for alignment about once every two years. He's spent the better part of his life working on this car. He brings it to the shop in a climate controlled trailer. He estimates a total investment of $250K, paint costing upwards of $50K. OR

maaco can slap some color on your car for cheap.. like $249 or something.
