Hey Speedracer,I had the machine shop clean the head, check if it's level and cut it, replace the seals, replace the valve springs (to Greddy), grind off the old gaskets, and polish the intake side. I had the work done by Gosney's Auto down here in Auburn. I am not registered with NWN, but I do search on there once in a while. Gettin real excited about the swap, my car has been down for almost 2 years (almost since the 2001 HIN, that's the pic in my sig... :) ) Are you part of any crew up here? Maybe you've seen my car before because I used to work at Ultraspeed back in the day ('98-'00 before the new owners that did the major drug smuggling) and then did some shows with Garage SPL (Same guys I worked for at Ultraspeed). Anyways, thanks for the interest!!

No crews here, I just went to SPL from time to time, rarely Ultraspeed, that underground garage was too brutal.

I hear you on that garage!!! But good thing I never had to park down there or else my car woulda f***ed!!! What shop are you going to now?? Or you just doing everything over the internet? Internet all the way for me..... not too many good shops around here. Intec charges an arm and leg for their parts and I don't even bother going to any of the other ones.

Intec is nice, but I do whatever I need to on my own. Just go through internet and local junkyards. Sometimes forum classifieds. But my car is pretty much at an end as a project.

Which model is you car?? Which motor?? Maybe if you decide that the project is over, maybe you'll sell me some parts.... :) Do you know when the next meet for NWN is? I might show up if my car is done, if not, I might just go to see all the cars and what not.

I have a 1990 FB with a redtop, I doubt I have any extra parts you need. But the next huge meet is tentatively scheduled for late March. It is under the events section.

Good Looking car. It is finally nice to find someone in the NW that appreciated these cars. Everything here in Everett is a Civic HB with Pep Boy parts on 'em. I hear ya on SPL they were F****ng rude as hell, thought I was BS'n when I said I was doin' the SR swap and ignored me as I was looking for parts. They sucked.

Yeah i am about to get my SR head back also. Allspeed is a pretty good shop around here that i have it being worked on. They are doing a port/pollish, 3 angle valve job, gready valve springs, port matching, cleaning, and resurfacing to really clean it up. I am really excited, I now have to put all my motor back together since i just blew up my KA. Good luck with it!
