this is not the 2nd time it happened

basically I measured 2.4l of redline mt-90, dump it through the shifter hole... tada! good shifter.... after a few months, it starts to grind alittle, to my surprise, 1/4 of the redline disappeared!

so I filled it up again, this time I opened the fill nut so I know I topped it off. I closed the fill nut after I fill it up, tada! good shifting again but few months down the road, it grinds sometimes. Again some of the transmission fluid is gone...

what gives? I am not leaking transmission fluid as far as I Can see... my transmission bellhousing is clean, I checked drain nut, fill nut, shifter plate, there is no evidence that suggest I am leaking transmission fluid, so where did all my transmission fluid go?

like flimsy says, its probably a bad seal at the back of the transmission where the driveshaft goes in if all the other spots are clean

That happen on my '90. IIRC, someone said that the rear driveshaft seal had a tendecy to wear oblong on those cars. Not sure about newer ones though.
