Yeah, growing up in the midwest I've had some friends find that out the hard way. Saw a grogeous 77 Trans Am have a big bubble right in on the hood scoop. I guess blackbirds don't like the thunderbird.
I was fortunate that it happened late in the day, the reason the paint colour looks so weird in that pic is becuase it's under some fluorescent lights at a convenience store. The sun didn't have time to really bake anything in.
