Coming from rear of car. Crawled under, looks like mufflers rusted thru at flange.

So, question; I see lots of mention of Megan racing exhaust via e-bay. That's fine, but would you guess axle back needed, or go from cat back?

Also is there a standard version closer to stock avail elsewhere? cheaper I assume?

thanks!!

So about exhausts. I've had so many exhausts in the past and I know some of them sound like s*** with raspiness like a rice rocket. Then I found a custom fabricator and they welded up an amazing exhaust on one of my cars that made it sound like a v12, but it was only a 4 cylinder. Really great work. The shop is called noize boyz in Toronto. And hey while you're up here visit our mayor for a night to remember.

So the old mufflers were fine just rusted or broken at flange.
Had local muffler shop cut out flange and weld sleeve joining pipe from cat to muffler.
Paid $60 for both sides. I realize that's not super exciting, but...

On a side note, I've had this car since new. We've had some snow in Mich already, this is an M35x, I've got winter snows on it. It just cranks in snow. Better than my 2 4-wheel drive trucks. I mean fun driving in the deep stuff!
