So when I bought my i30t a few weeks ago the dealer had detailed it and it was nice and clean, but when I ran my hand over the paint it was pretty rough. It had obviously never been REALLY detailed.

So the other night I decided to do the hood. A real full detail is a big job and I only had a few hours, so I picked an easy part to start with. I washed, clay barred, applied mother's phase 1, 2, and 3 and oh my what a difference. It was beautiful:

i did the same thing with my explorer and wow did it make a difference, so smooth to the touch.

good lord that must have taken forever. either that or i'm doing something wrong. when i did my 240Z it took me 11 hours and my arms almost fell off.

o it did, it took the weekend, i had friday and saturday off, i started 2 friday and finished by 12 sat. i slept of course and had it in the garage and picked it up the next morning
