You don't have to. Baltimore is having one in a month's time.

They'd have to check the track for crackheads after every lap

A better link with a route of the purposed track:

http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2011/08/03/n ... -new-york/

This would be 20-30 mins from my home and about 45 mins with public transportation.

I don't see it happening with F1. There was a lotta hype a few years ago about trying to draw an F1 race to the Meadowlands which fizzled. IBut I think the organizers would have a better shot at doing what Baltimore is doing now with ALMS, Indycar and 3 other orgs.

That's a reasonable explanation, but PBR is popular far beyond those who can't routinely afford a quality micro.

Hipsters who survive off of trust funds for example.

IT'S A FANTASTIC BEER FOR IT'S PRICE

my first legal beer was a tallboy of PBR.

I'll be having some later tonight. I do enjoy microbrews from time to time but usually, when I find myself buying a 12 pack of something, it's usually PBR or Rolling Rock as they're good and half the price of other options.

This would be great!

One of my goals after retirement: follow F1 around the world for a complete season. That would be so awesome!

I don't really get into IRL that much, but the ALMS cars in Baltimore are gonna rock!

Is F1 still running in indy each year or is the US Gran Prix gone?

That is also one of my goals! Travel and see the world while following my favorite motorsport. Can't beat it.

2007 was the last time Indy hosted F1. Since then F1 has not been back in the States. They are building a track outside Austin, TX which is suppose to hold it's first F1 race November 18th, 2012. All though next year's race schedule is provisional so that date is subject to change.

I like Rolling Rock -- its much higher quality than its price would suggest. That's good value in my book.

I think I was spoiled by Kokanee, a good cheap beer from British Columbia that I can only find in the Pacific Northwest.

the Pacific Northwest is a hotbed for good cheap beer.

The Southern US...not so much.
