Today is December 21, 2011 leaving just one year remaining on earth. Will it be a meteor or comet to take us all out? Maybe a change in the earth's polarity? Maybe the dinosaurs are going to come back to devour the souls of the living. In any case, you are all on death row. How are you going to handle your last year?!

BTW, this thread was done out of sarcasm in case anyone was going to take it too seriously...

Is it a coincidence that the movie 2012 is on TV right now? ;)

IN BEFORE EVERYONE FREAKS OUT WITH 2012 THEORIES :ohno:

I'm banking on an alien invasion, in which Will Smith will come and save us all from. Or something like that.

In any scenario, I will continue on with life as usual. No need to worry, I have no regrets and am thankful for the life i've lived so far. I would prefer many, many years of life personally, because there's still many things i'd like to see and do, but there's no guarantees to anything in life.

My 2012 doomsday scenario has nothing to do with the Mayan calendar unless they were thinking about this.

No, Washington. The Chinese are merely acting in their best interests. Our government does not act in ours.

Speaking of China, better get your iPADs soon lemmings!
iPad dust may have caused China factory blast, tablet supplies could be affected

Guess my uncle planned well. Im sure the power is off by now in TN, growing his own food and living like a caveman. God, what a trip that guy was.

I feel like with my luck something bad will happen just because I'm getting my life together finally, done with school, baby on the way, all my ducks are in a row to get in the usaf. On the downside I've had to sell some guns because when I went back to school I had to leave my job and I've been slowly selling stuff to make ends meet, now that I'm down to one firearm the zombies will surely rise. The way I see it though, it the SHTF for real then most likely there will be enough armed bodies on the ground for me to rob a firearm from.

I do have to admit that I've been getting sucked up in all the media hype, I can't help, I did the same thing with Y2K and nothing happened. I think deep down none of us really want anything to happen because it would destroy our lives but on the surface we wish something catastrophic to happen because it's new, exciting and scary. In the event the zombies or highwaymen do rise, I rest peacefully knowing I'm very resourceful and a fantastic shot to boot.

One of the shows on 2012 I was watching feature a guy that plans to jump off a cliff at 11:11 on 12/21/2012. He feels there is a portal that will open up and transfer him to safety.

Yeah I know haha, I think the guy is either completely wacko or he's using this as a scam to screw people out of money, neither one would surprise me. I do think they said something about him having a website and accepting donations. I don't know why it would take money to jump off a cliff but my guess is that if all these people pay him money and he doesn't jump he may just get pushed.

I'll be looking for giveaways of any and all items by people who buy into this silliness and don't care anymore.

Reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes comic that reads:
"The good Lord put me on this Earth to accomplish a certain number if things. Right now, I am so far behind, I will never die!"
:chuckle:
