I recently had my timing set to 15 degrees on my rb20det with manual transmission and Auto Ecu . Now, I just put in an actual manual transmission ecu and the car drives smoother at under 4K rpm, but has no power above 4k rpm. Do i need to have my timing re-set again? or could there be some other cause? i had this problem with my car on the auto ecu before i took it in to get the timing set, and now its back.

Is the neutral switch hooked up? If not it throws off timing, needs to be used.

forgot to mention my rb was originally installed as an automatic and has been converted to 5-speed. maybe i will switch back to auto ecu.,,,,if i switch back to auto ecu, should i advance my timing a little?
