I have 5 bolts from my 95 240sx that the mechanic gave to me, he said something about "flywheel".. I think it came out of the flywheel or something, it may have been 6 bolts, but he gave me 5 of them and they were cut in half because he had to to take them out. They say "MT" on them, what are they called so I can replace them?

ALSO, where to find them?

Thanks

Let me guess, they are about 17mm heads that use a 12 point socket. They sound like the bolts that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft. You will probably need to go straight to Nissan for them.

Do you think I can go down to a hardware store, buy bolts that are the same and use those? I found some, but the only difference is that the head is a little different, it looks like it still uses a 12 pt socket wrench, but it maybe smaller. Otherwise... A junkyard?

NEVER USE HARDWARE STORE BOLTS ON YOU ENGINE OR POWERTRAIN! Seriously, it is not worth the risk. Buy OEM or aftermarket bolts designed for the application. I am trying to figure out how your "mechanic" broke all those. They have a wonderful invention called a "torque wrench" he may want to look into. You need to find out if these are in fact your flywheel bolts and why they are broken. I have never broken one of those and there is no conceivable situation short of crosstreading them with a 3/4" impact gun that I could fathom snapping them.

Hm, so where can I possibly buy these? Any place other than the Nissan dealer? Would Junkyard ones work?

yes but make sure they come out of a manual transmission vehicle. that is why your bolts are labeled MT. the manual bolts a bit longer i believe.
