I was cleaning my throttle body up that i was planning on using and i noticed that there is a rubber seal on the side of it where the TPS sensor goes. I noticed that it is chewed up a bit and im wondering if this is going to affect anything at all or if its just there for dust protection? I dont think this piece is replaceable or at least it would be nearly impossible to find.
Hopefully someone knows because im stumped like a tree.
Oh my, Do i need a new throttle body? Ive never seen this before.

i have a spare throttle body and it doesn't even look like what you have. but mine is all clean. IDK......

Dust seal. Just ignore it unless you get a vacuum leak.
