For some reason I forsee problems with those RUCA's... Maybe it's cause I have an s13 and my RUCA's are full circle and not just c shaped... but I just don't think they're curved enough to clear the shock for some reason. Mine come straight through the center and megan shock tubes are not small. Maybe you'll get lucky but you better check your clearances before you get too far into it and find out the hard way that it's too close...

Those Toe Rods are f*** sexy btw... I wish I could have afforded PBM's instead of generic ones... They need that bend and PBM the only one who puts it in their..

The S14 RUCAs used the half circle design and many aftermarket companies started using the same design on S13s. I agree that the Megans don't look like they arc out enough. SPL RUCAs definitely have more curve to them

EDIT: Found a good picture of a factory RUCA

Maybe the other RUCA's have more curves to them since they're beefier? I was doing my research on the Circuit Sport RUCA's before ordering them (since it isn't the best brand ever), and I couldn't find any problems with fitment issues on Coilovers?

I hope you guys are wrong tho, that would be so gay if there's fitment problems. . . If it doesn't fit, I would be baffled to the fact that CS did not take into consideration that RUCA's helps to properly align lowered cars (which in turn have Coilovers etc).

They will probably fit. I say this because coilovers are thinner than stock dampers and springs.

As you can see, the stock unit doesn't have the spring perch, till it's over the RUCA. There's a lot of wiggle room for the stock setup, so I don't think you'll have any fitment issues. So, seeing that, I'll take back what I said earlier about the arc on the CS unit.

Alright, thread update!! The coilovers were installed tonight (october 24th), and I installed them right out of the box without modding the height (I can fit 1.3 fingers under there). I will post pictures tomorrow when there's more light outside. I must say, it looks great.

I still need to take it for an alignment since the arms were installed by eyeballing it to the stock arms. So yeah, more to come tomorrow.

Have fun driving it to the shop then... LMAO. I did that too. Got them as close to the lenth of the stock arms as possible... I couldn't drive more than 20 mph to the shop or thecar would litterally spin itself out. haha. It was scary to say the least.

My alignment specs when I got to the shop looked like this:
Front:
Camber: -0.2 ........ -0.7
Caster: 4.5 ........... 6.3
Toe: -1.13 ............ -1.08
SAI: No idea what that is lol

Rear:
Camber: -1.7 ............ -1.4
Toe: 1.47 ................. 2.16

BTW in toe tems... that's the opposite of what you want with the front wheels pointed toward each other and the rears pointed away. This causes severe rear steering affect which is why the car kept "auto spinning"

This is a good setup for the street and what I use currently (I know a guy with an alignment shop in town):
Front:
Camber: -1.5
Caster: 7.0 (IDK why but this is the factory setting also, but it seems like too much)
Toe: 0.05

Rear:
Camber: -0.75
Toe: -0.02

ALL OF THESE SETTINGS SHOULD BE SYMETRICAL. Meaning the same left and right.

Thanks for the alignments you wrote down, gives me something to compare my stuff too. I'll come back and edit this post to write my alignment specs down. By the way, here's the pics of the car.

I haven't been driving the car hard since it has been raining forever now. Tho, right off the start, the suspension was much stiffer, and it obviously handles much better than stock. At the moment I have the dampening set at 28 for the front and rear (32 being the softest), so i'ma play around and find the stiffness I like best.

But so far, it is about 9.23x better than those stock shocks etc. It made a huge difference in the overall handling. But i'll really push it on Wednesday (weather is supposedly going to be sunny).

I'll keep you guys updated on how the Megans hold up, and feel over time.

Dude rain is the time to test them... GO DRIFTING!! God I wish it would rain where I live. It's rained twice now in 3 months... AND I LIVE IN TENNESSEE!! IT should be raining twice a week here this time of year.. WTF is going on with the weather???

Anyways, Like I said in my 2 year review thread... they are WAY stiff when you first get them. Like go-cart with no suspension at all stiff. But give them about 2 or 3 weeks and they'll break in and you'll love the way they feel. I run mine at 16 btw.

And yea post up those specs lol the before should be pretty funny.

I would go lower, but I drive my car to work everyday, and i'm always going to new job sites. And most of the time, there's a lot of speed bumps in the residential homes we go to. So if I go lower, it would just be stupid for my commute to work.
