Uhmm yeah, so when I first bought my 240, I took it to an empty parking lot, drifted it around, was all good.

Next night, was pretty rainy.. Went anyways, there's this section where I like to drift through, It's like an "r" shaped corner in the parking lot.. Well, the dry night I had it down.. CUT TO THE CHASE.. I think I need a wheel alignment or something. I smashed my stockie in that night, and I've recently put coilovers and new rims on the car and recently noticed after lowering the rear, that one side is .5"'s higher..It just so happens that side is the side I smashed the stockie on, so I think I bent something, should I take it to a shop or order in a bunch of suspension parts?IE: RUCA, Toe Arm.. or something. Nothing Looks bent, but something could be. Should I take it to a shop, but they might just f'ing play me and say "Sorry, can't let you drive this home, it's unsafe. /CHARGE $1000"

Ok guy, lets take this step by step instead of rushing to conclusions.

1st thing I would do:Jack up the rear, take both wheels off and compare the suspension components. You more than likely bent something.

If you can't find anything wrong, a good idea would be to get an alignment then work from there.

BTW, pics of said damage would help.

I notice that Passenger rear coilover is sitting farther inward. Like less of an angle. (Where I hit it)The rears dont have camber adjustment or anything. When I hit my stockie it was on my stock suspension so I don't think it's the coilovers.I personally can't notice, I was out there for like 4 hours in the blazing sun trying to find out if I could fix it.Was going to order RUCA's.I'll go take pics now.Brb

I agree with lifting it up and checking it. Put the rear on jack stands and thoroughly check every piece of the sub frame. Wipe the 20 year old half inch of road grease away check for any creases or wrinkles in the metal. It's a weight reduction all on its own.

Camera died after like 3 pics To keep you entertained, here's pics of the difference.

Both coilovers are at equal height.

Driver Side (The okay side)

Passenger (Not so okay)

Going to take pics of the rear camber difference etc.

To be honest, I meant with the wheel off. I can't tell s*** with the wheel on. Just so you know though, I don't really remember but if you hit a curb more than likely you bent something. Check the LCA first.

from what you discribed, and just kind of expected when hitting a curb, you bent something. i agree with the guys above. stop beetin around the bush, pull the wheels and look at your stuff. find whats bent, replace it, then get an alignment. or pay more money, get an alignment, theyll tell you whats bent, replace it, and get another alignment

Kind of s***ty that I noticed it just now. -.-

I know I'm an idiot, and spamming pictures of things that don't show much will help. Lol, I was looking today and nothing looked bent, but I really doubt it's just an alignment.. The rim couldn't hold air anymore after I smashed it, anywho, I'll try and find out tomorrow what's up and keep ya updated. Thanks for the advice though.

Agreed.

Dude, look up my thread of my $360 pick up. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to this s***, I probably spent more than 4 hours in a wheel well on the side of my house. I also had to replace alot and cut rusted bolts and all that goodness. Good luck though, update your thread with pictures of the wheel off and at different camera angles and I'll be more than happy to help.

Sure thing, I believe it is the LCA cause I used the search tool, some guy posted saying he hit a curb, cept his damage was like

but like how I said, the coilover sits different than the Left side, so I think you're right on the LCA/subframe.

I'll post more pics tomorrow.

your spindle or Upper control arm is bent, they are not that strong, it's not a big deal as long the subframe is not out of wack. out of allignment wont give you that much of a change. check the mounting to subframe, mounting points might be ripped at the welds or pushed in.

you bent either a Ruca, Traction link, Toe rod, or LCA... maybe multiple things just look at them and if you need any of those parts i have ALOT of those parts around in good shape. OR just buy aftermarket.

That sure the heck looks bent to me

So you know you at least need new RUCAS, but there may be more. A 2800+ pound car is going to make a lot of stuff move that wasn't supposed to move when sliding sideways into a curb.

Even if you didn't bend anything, an alignment is absolutely necessary after changing suspension components.

And since nobody else has said it yet, don't be a jackass in public! But I assume you learned your lesson

Odly enough my school parking lot is far from a lot of housing :Phaha.Yes I did.Don't think it's dry when drifting when it's not -.-Hope its just the RUCA though, phoning in for part order now, then phoning in for an alignment when I get the ship date.

Idk man, s13 rucas have a little "dip" in them. Could just be the camera angle

I can try and go take pics at a different angle.See what I started thinking was... What if nothings bent and I just through the whole thing outta wack when i hit the curb..Thought maybe just an alignment.
