BTW...nice work on the fascia. One of the only ones I've seen that doesn'tsag even a bit. The fascia matches the hood line perfectly. I usually seethem bow just a bit.
Nice work....mine will look very similar when finished.
Behind it? But the part that sags is the upper part of the grille, not where the foam piece originally was located: in front of the bumper support.smithersbpr wrote:shhhh! ill let you in on the secret cause mine did too. i used the stirafoam(sp) that i took off and cut it up and put it behind the fascia to hold it in place. but noone knows that but you all now. lol
thats probably the funnies post i've read today. I can picture that quote being said so perfectly.LongBeachCoupe wrote:what the hell is on your car man? is it the picture thats altered? or do you rub vaseline on it like a boxers face to get that shine!

WHO U CALLIN COLORED CARsmithersbpr wrote:i cant promise the same for a colored car.
Thanks for the tip! i have to do that..and transfer the stock brace..havent done that yet. I was at the gasoline station the other day and this guy in a black g35 stopped me and asked me what kind of car i have...and he said he thought it was a GTR too. lol.smithersbpr wrote:look closely at the center of my grill. you will notice that the two center bars kinda move away from each other. you can only see it cause the reflection. but i cut the ends off the styrofoam since they are angled. then stuck them up against the back side of the grill so that the back of the foam and ac cooler are parallel with each other. there will still be a gap there. then cut two more pieces off and wedge between the other piece and the ac cooler or what ever it is. my car is black so you dont notice it any. i cant promise the same for a colored car.
once the pieces are wedged in there just push up on them until you get the bumper to where you want it. then tape the pieces of foam together with elctrical tape. its rigged but it works. and where it is wedged in you dont have to worry about it falling out.
and all this can be done with the bumper on. just reach through the bottom and up behind the metal bumper brace. i just hope you have small arms like me.

I can understand a G, but a Skyline or a Z? Wow, those guys must not know their cars.
Guys...he made a post about this a couple of days ago! It was shot in HDR, and that's why it's got that wicked shine to it! You can get an effect like that in PS, but if he claims it's HDR then I'm likely to believe him.LongBeachCoupe wrote:lol be nice! Not everyone is from NY ya clown!
Its funny how you can just spit out all the details of the job from looking at the picture. How much time do you think was spent on the picture on the grass post shot?
