Whow... I work for Ford... and I like Mustangs but damn.

"Bring back the 5.0" a lot of my coworkers tune the foxbody 5.0s which seem to run like beasts. However the heads on the 4.6 gt seem to breathe much better w/o any serious modification. Mustangs are dogs though...IMO

My buddy that I also work with has an amazing powerplant on his hands. An LS-1 Camaro. Last time he was at the track he ran 11.9 and something like 84 mph. He was standing on the brakes trying not to beat his dial-in time but he still DQ'ued himself because he dialed in at 12.1. He went 11.9 with slicks, 400+ rear end, exhaust, intake, and short shifter. Car is clean as all get out. I can't praise it enough. It doesn't look like a redneck mobile, looks very clean. No 38 inch cowl hood or tubbed out 14inchers in the rear...

Oh. I forgot to mention they dig my s13 w/ the lazy eye goodness. They are happy to see me sporting a RWD.

Best of all most of the guys I work with aren't haters. They understand that it's not what badge is on the hood but rather how much work you do yourself to make it "yours".

The new mustang looks real nice. I saw one a few days ago at the philly auto show. They are fast too. I know it would take a lot of money for my car to be that fast...I'm not that worried about it though.Get mad if you want, but the import v. domestic war has been going on for like 15 years.

as a pure enthusiast, I think the new 'Stang is the sweetness....

don't hate it for being faster stock, hate it for being a damn Ford and sure to have retarded engineering in it somewhere:(

Not if he was doing 150 and then jammed the breaks right before the trap which is in about the last 10ft of the track. It is possible and happens all the time. I wouldn't call BS on that at all.

exactly as spec said: all he had to do was beat his opponent without beating his dail-in. Raise the BS flag if you want. However a little research will show that the ls-1 motor is far superior to the lt motor. It is very capable of posting up times like that, even when on the brakes. In fact, I'll see of he has a time slip to prove it.

dont like the interior and didnt really like the exterior either when i first saw it but after awhile its starting to grow on me. i just think that ford went the safe route by using some origonal styles in its design whereas a lot of other manufactuers are make more "modern" looking cars such as BMW, which isnt getting good reviews from the press but i like them personally. just dont change the M3!

only respects Supras and RX-7s only after alot of money? What a Jackass! Does he realize he drives like the most common car on the road? How come someone didnt tell me looking like everyone else was what was cool, shooot I guess I'm on the wrong bandwagon.

And why is he forgetting the VR-4s!! and what about 300ZX TT? Hell noone I know with an import thats turbo has ever lost to those ****ty cars. IMO they lost it with the mustang as soon as that foxbody came.
