offsets?

I was hoping to bypass the 5 lug conversion. On offsets what would 17x8 front 35 and 17x9 rear 35 look like on a s13 hatch? Would it clear the z32 calipers and most types of coilovers? I wanted them to be semi-flush to the fenders without any rolling/pulling. Could I use spacers to make it closer to the fender and still clear coils and calipers?
