My S14 came with R33 calipers up front, and at first I was happy, but then I realized I knew nothing about them. I'm not sure if R33 calipers and Z32 calipers are the same, so I'll just ask. What offsets would clear R33 calipers up front on an S14? The current wheels I have on the car are some brandless 17x7 with some unknown offset. They BARELY clear, so I'm sort of paranoid about that.

Also, for some strange reason, the previous owner converted to 4 lug (...), and I don't know why. I currently have Tein HA's on at the moment.

Let'a notice offset on the actual R33 wheel..

17x9 +30

spoke design will be key with aftermarket wheels but use that as a base. R33 wheels look great on the s14 so just get those and call it perfect!

Go back to the drawing board and get some SE 5lug hubs for the car while you're at it. Interesting that an R33 caliper will envelope a base s14 rotor, unless the R33 rotor is re-drilled and if that's the case, the moron who did that deserves to be known as the clown and hack mechanic he seems to be.

Which is the exact situation. Hahahaha. I'll be keeping my car 4-Lug for now, until I can come up with more money for a conversion. I have 2 complete sets of wheels, as well, so I wouldn't want to put that to waste. I'll be doing a couple of events, then I'll most likely be going 5-Lug. Thanks for your input.
