I'm looking at some rims but they are 42 offset...that going to be too much? Thought we need around 32 or less...

The offset depends on how wide the wheel is etc... I got +40 offset 7 inch wide wheels and people were like NOOO THATS AWFUL!! Well guess what? when I put them on they are very flush Much more flush then the stock wheels were... and they look really good! My point is most people here are not wheel experts and are just spitting out what comes to mind without understanding it.. If you really like the wheels but you want a lower offset and A) they don't make them with the right offset or B) it's a really good deal for the +42s Then just get a set of 15mm spacers for $70

42 is very highThe higher the offset, the more tucked in the rim will look, given constant width.Cool people like Chmercer say use +O offset!

Not everybody wants the perfectly flush fit or the mexican hot rod look either.I like my stock wheels tucked in so I can still have suspension travel because I drive my car sometimes!
