I just purchased a set of rims for my 1995 240SX SE. The question I had is will these wheels rub with a 43+ offset? They are ADR's with a split five design. :D

BTW they are 17x7's. I'll probably use 205/40/17 or 215/40/17 tires.

yes they will fit, but might require a small(5mm) spacer to clear coilovers.-chet

Would I need spacers on all 4 sides or just in the rear?

probably just the front, but I would put them on all 4 corners just to be safe. if you dont use coilovers, I wouldnt worry about it.-chet

I don't plan on putting coilovers on yet however that will be a future project once I get some more green. Thanks!

no w/ 205 tires they will be fine, w/ 215 tires they may still work (spacers may be needed) Now if you got coil overs you will have no fitting problems what so ever.

i wouldnt go with the 205's tho jsut cuz the sidewall is so small i wont look right on a 240. i have a 95 too you would have to lower it too much

205 is width of the tire not the thickness. Density (thickness) would be 50,45,40,35,etc........

no. you're wrong. read the FAQ article again. those numbers(50, 45, etc) are called an 'aspect ratio'. it means that the sidewall height is X percent of the tire width( the 205) from the widest points.

example:225-45-17

is 225mm from sidewall to sidewall(across the tire)is (225mm*.45=) 101mm high sidewallon a 17 inch diameter wheel.

get it?-chet

I know that but what the other guy said was referring to was how high the tire sidewall will be. I've already been told a 205/40/17 tire will fit.
