offset question

Ok would a Offset: +40 mm be good on a s14 because i wanna get them an i need replies quick please because i need to bid on them. also right now i have super hicas wheels the 7 spoke steelies from off one on my s14. Also whats the factory setting on nissan wheels? My car is a 4 lug so the pattern would be liek 4 * 114.3?

You are correct. Your car has a 114.3 pattern whether it is four or five lug. The 40mm offset would work, but it is not very aggressive. What wheels are you looking at?

40 pshhhh go with a nice 35 or 25 just depends on the width of the wheel and tire

keep in mind the wheel width affects how offset affects the positioning of the wheel in relation to the car. So just saying a +40 offset isn't going to tell you how the wheels will look.

they are 17* 7 an i was also looking at some wheels that were 18*7

That offset would be fine. 7" is on the narrow side but will work. A 7.5 with a 215/45-17 would give you a lot of options for setups and will handle a little better. You want to stick with something in the middle of the recc. rim range for the tire.
