Ok i plan on buying some Work VS-xx rims in 17x8 or 17x8.5 in the front and 17x10 or 17x10.5 in the rear, i will be running the origin lab s14 20mm front fenders and 50mm origin lab rear over fender.. i might even go for a more aggresive width in the back and i will be running a project mu full brake setup, what would i need as far as offset or spacers, or both to have a nice flush stance in front and rear, sorry im new to offsets and im trying to figure out as much as possible before i commit to a certain size of rim, my car is a 95 s14 but will be converted to 97-98 if that helps any thanks

You'll have to go with a crazy negative offset to even get close to flush in the rear with only a 10" wide wheel with over fenders. I run an 8" wide +10 offset, stock fenders with a small pull.

With stock fenders, I'm guessing an offset of around 25-30 on a 10" wide wheel would be very flush (with the correct camber). So with a 50mm over fender, you'd have to get a wheel with a -20 to -25 offset. (don't confuse +20 with -20)

Good luck.

BTW, this should be in the tire, wheel, suspension forum.

THose are stupid sizes for a car with overs. You want something more like 18x9or 9.5 in front with single digit or low teen offsets. In the back you want at least a 10 with either single digit or negative offsets. Something like,18x9 +1018x10-10would fit almost perfect. Those are just example offsets, you can give or take a few MM depending on your tire sizes, and the amount of camber your going to run.It also depends on how you mount your rear overs, as they can be manipulated to flare out as much as you please depending on how you mount it.

Word of advice:Get the wheels first. Then mount the overfenders.

Well everything is in gives and takes with fitment

Do you want almost no camberor do you mind alot?do you want it for track or street

everything comes into effect hereif you don tmind camber, you can run lower offsets if you do, you run higher.

sevret.t- Watch yourself. Yokota is always willing to help, but not if you don't even know what you want. Chill the **** out and stop being a bastard. Figure out what you would like to do then search first I have a thread like this. I am also going to run Overfenders. Just look at that instead of posting. Good luck and don't be an A$$.

im not trying to be rude, i stated i wanted a car i could daily drive and still use it for fun during weekends, he wasnt very polite was he.. i apologize for being a n00b but i've never owned a rwd car so offsets werent much of a deal for me.. ok heres what i want and have decided.. Instead of the vs-xx in ordering some volk gt-u in gold, my buddy is a dealer for volk wheels, i wont be getting a overfender, just pulling my fenders out enough to fit my rims with little camber as possible.. right now im running fn01rc 17x8 front 18x9.5 rear, i have a slight bit of camber in the rear to fit them.. not sure of the offset on either front nor rear, when i got the 240 it came with the rims.. i pretty much have no offset knowledge which is why i asked here.. so here is my question now:

I want to buy Volk GT-U for my s14 with no overfenders, i'd like to have a nice fit that will look good as well, looking for a DECENT lip in the rear.. I would like to know What size and offset would be good for my s14, i thought about 17x8 in the front still, and 18x10 in the rear, would it be possible to pull the fender enough to run that size in the rear without it looking slightly ridiculous?? My plans for the car are Daily Driver/Autocross on weekends.. Occasional Drag race but not alot.. If theres any other info. you would need to help me with my decision please let me know thanks

Sounds like you need to start building the car first.

Might be getting ahead of yourself if you still have a front end conversion and overfenders to do....

I am not going to make excuses for yokota, a lot of people think he is an ***, but they still listen to him. That is respect. I am on the conservative side of aggressive wheel fitments, but I have the upmost respect for the amount of work, patience, and KNOWLEDGE it takes to do some of the things he has. As for your set up, I would suggest a 17x9 front and rear with an offset somewhere in the teens. I would suggest a softer tire with decent wear and good grip. Think Falken RT615, Hankook RS-2 or any high performance tire of your liking. Anything with a treadwear rating of over 300 will probably be m+s rated; how often do you drive in mud and snow?Learn about alignment settings. If you have adjustable links, find out how to get the most out of your foot settings. I use my car as a dd also, and when its time to tear it up, I can do so in a gas station parking lot in a few minutes, though my regular settings are quite adequate as far as camber and toe are concerned.
