OK so Ive searched and searched, and you know what I keep finding over and over again? A bunch of threads, of people saying "this has been covered before...search" but no answers

Its funny because over the past 2 hours or so that I have been reading, I still cannot find the answer to a simple offset fitment question or two.

So here it is. Flame on.

I have a 93 fastback.I will have Q45 front brakes and Stance Coilovers.I am not opposed to rolling fenders if need be. I do not want spacers if it can be helped.

I found some wheels I like and I would like to know how they will fit to the fenders ( flush )/clear coils and brakes.

I understand that +20ish is ideal for offset on an S13I will not be running ginourmus tires, probably around 235/40 or 45 in the front and 245 in the rearYes I know where the offset calculator is, yes I have used it. Im just a slow learner and dont grasp the concept just yet.

sizes are 17x9 +35 all around (or)18x8.5 +35 front and 18x9.5 +35 rear

From what I have read thus far, I dont think the 17x9 + 35 will work in the front? I have heard varying opinions. But what about the 18x8.5 +35? There is even an 18x7.5 +35 option.

Thanks much for anyone that can help, and let me know how it will look/clear. For some reason this offset stuff is hard for me to understand.

edit: so of course as soon as I post, I go back to my searching and find a thread saying 18x8.5 will clear front coils by about 1.5mm.

any confirm on this?

Thanks

18s up front on an s13 are a bad idea

plus those really arent the best sizes

like youd said, +20, 17x9, thats perfect for the sizes youre looking at (235/40 and 245/40)

That must of come from one of my posts about the 1.5mm. I am obviously confirming it since they are on my car. I am running a set of WedsSports TC-005's 18x8.5 +35 and 18x10 +44 w/275 tire. Running Stoptechs on the front and Z32's on the rear. The front is completely stock S13 fenders and rolled rear quarters. The car is not slammed, but pretty low. There is no rubbing at all, but my suspension is also set pretty stiff. This car is driven everyday, potholes, railroad tracks, speed humps/bumps etc. Just because it looks like a trailer queen doesn't mean I treat it like one. I always hate it one someone says their setup doesn't rub........ and all they ever do is back it on and off a trailer. Let me know if you need any other info or just want some advice.
