Holy crap guy, you don't need wheels that wide in the back unless you're planning on just towing the car to the drag strip. I'm just getting my first set of aftermarket wheels too. Coincidentally, also a 95 240sx(not se) I just went with 17x7.5s all around, because I am getting coilovers next and I want the wheels to leave enough room for them. I don't even think you can fit wheels that wide on the 240 without some spacers or something and bigger fenders.

Not sure what you're talking about when you say leave room for coilovers....my coilovers left more room than the stock suspension.

I've got 8" wheels all around and I've got room inside and out. I wouldn't recommend going much wider than 8" in the front, but I definitely want to run 9" in the back. 10" would be great, but most likely unnecessary and would require an almost exact offset to make it work if it even would.

And I disagree with not needing something that wide.....you can't beat that look. You need some MEAT in the back!

theres a big difference between need and want. you mway WANT a 10" rear wheel, but you dont need it, it just weights more. a 8" wide rear, or even 8.5" will be more sufficient for anyone.keep in mind a wider tire does not necessarily mean more grip, or more contact....
