Offset, 5 lug, 16x8 rim question for my 1990 Hatch

Ok, done some reading. Here's what I want to do.

16x8 inch rim with a 55mm offset (this might be enough right there for someone to tell me it isn't going to work)

The common 5 lug conversion - will it accept a 5 x 4.75" (120.65mm) bolt pattern rim?

I think thats all the details I can provide - er well one more, would I run a 245/50/16 rubber on that rim and would my speedo be correct?

that +55 is quite a bit high. You should consider something in the 10's to 20's. 120's aint gonna fit either. 114.3 buddy
