Dude, first thing you need to do is open up the thread that Fauldesign started around getting some lowering springs. You got the gaps, I know I have it too on my 97' but I've bought a set of the Tein lowering springs that will get rid of them (see Kevin's car in his sign)

Hi everyone

i cannot believe that i have been offline for soo long that i "missed" (well, @ least i'm not exactly timely anyhow) the chance to add my 1998 to this thread... i have posted pics of my baby before in here, but all the same here's 1 of my 1998 Qwith: 56,000 orig. miles currently -still no upgrades however, i'm A) too busy thesedays to make the subtle changes i would like to and B) i guess i'm still "bone-stock n proud of it" anyway!! (it's really more the time issue however...new wheels and suspension would be nice)

nice to be back,

Wow, that IS nice! IMO, the height w/ the Tein's looks absolutely perfect. I'm sure Dorimon want's to go lower (air) and stretch tires more (why the smaller sizes he's getting) but it looks great like it is, and the key is it works great.

Thanks!!! I must admit, when we moved, I was in a work truck and the wife was driving the Q, and I just couldn't get over how nice it looked rolling, and how hot she looked driving it!

Yeah it's for one to actually view the car in action, which is quite hard to do when you are the driver! I've often adimired my wifes 96 G50 when following her.

Thanks, the TEIN's have been good to me. I want to go a little lower so I've decided to just get the JIC coilovers over air.

Sorry for the late response. I was lucky and found one on Ebay back in August for $1050 shipped. You can get one from Memoryfab.com

This is one of the photos that the dealer in Houston took a few days ago...

I drove her to her new home in San Antonio this afternoon.

2000 10th Anniversary, 72K, with every option but the navigation system - for roughly the same price as a 3-year-old Corolla at CarMax.

I'm in love.

Did you ever figure out your rubbing problem? Looks great! Can't recall, but did you plan to lower it at all?

Are you soliciting a sale for some tein springs Kevin? I agree that the lowering springs is the best mod for the Y33.
