Which is understandable...but then why go to NOPI with an R34 GT-R and have some huge display?xyster wrote:Maybe he's just tired of talking about his car, and doesn't want some random girls leaning all over it for pics.
He's an a$$.

Beats me. Just presenting an alternate viewpoint.SeVa-S13 wrote:Which is understandable...but then why go to NOPI with an R34 GT-R and have some huge display?
I don't think any of us ever said it was a requirement. It's just an observation...he's an a$$.xyster wrote:Beats me. Just presenting an alternate viewpoint.
He sure sounds like an a$$, but setting up a display at NOPI doesn't require him to be polite. You approached him, remember.
Dude, that's a freakin brilliant idea for a paintjob. Have it painted to make it look like it's splattered with love bugs, but when you step back, it spells NICO!!!Florida240sx wrote:If your bring the car to Nopi and have the hood popped, then you automatically open yourself to questions....No if's ands or buts.... If he didn't wnat to show off his car then close your hood and leave it, or act like your on the phone. Why would he not want to let people take pics??? I'm workign to get my vert nico tent ready for next year....It will be clean and polished, no custom bug effect this time.... Unless it spells out Nico....
When he first pulled in, I tried to get him to park with us but he gave me the same attitude about a "feature car" and drove away. Then he couldn't figure out where to go.EZcheese15 wrote:

Which car did you drive down?repo man wrote:Hell yeah. No haters on the bugsplatter paintjob either.
I wish I only drove 494 miles to get to NOPI, of course I had no mechanical problems so I guess it worked out.
I drove my dad's s13, which is immaculate and bone stock. Mine is about 95% hooked up with a redtop SR. Have you seen the five lug conversion pics and such? It now wears s14 SE wheels on nice, smooth, new hubs and bearings.Bubba1 wrote:

Yes, he does owe everyone something, and that is plain common courtesy.xyster wrote:Imagine how many fanboys like yourselves accost that R34 owner every damn day. Then, imagine how many were bugging him nonstop at NOPI. I bet you'd start brushing people off, too. That's all I'm saying.
And No, popping your hood at NOPI does not require you to answer every question or reply to every comment some stranger makes.
You 3 act like that guy owes you something.
But anyways, enough thread jacking.
Agreed. She was so freakin' hot... Even without the Skyline I would've been impressed. Put the two together and we're talking Instawood.audtatious wrote:The Admin Staff approved

Oh yeah, you did that already at NOPI...
No you're not.Florida240sx wrote:Glad I had a private room..........
Wrong. He doesn't owe you anything. If he registered with NICO, or parked in your section, then sure, you could expect more of him. Oh, and common courtesy doesn't involve answering every question or comment from some fanboy.nchopp wrote:Yes, he does owe everyone something, and that is plain common courtesy.
Just as you owe everyone here common courtesy, but feel free to keep going with calling staff "fanboys".
