I WILL NOT BE AT THE FLYING J ON JUNE 2. THE WEATHER HAS CHASED US OFF AND SO THIS MEET HAS BEEN POST PONED UNTIL JUNE 9. I welcome all to bring as many friends and cars as they can. Because this has been done so last minute, I cannot garuntee turn out, so your help would be greatly appreciated. Also, I will be looking for feed back as to what you guys want to do!

First off, I have found what seems to be a good place for all convertibles on here attending, to meet up and roll out. There is a Flying J truck stop on I-4 just east of I-75. All the information to MapQuest/Google Earth it is below. Please post if you are interested in a big VERT ROLL OUT!!! (I am so down for this)

Ok, So it is OFFICIAL, this meet will be taking place in a MULTI-PART deal!!!

(OPTIONAL, but recommended)- Vert meet up, I will be at the Flying J (should anyone say they are down) at 10:00 AM. I will wait about 20 MINUTES (this means, I leave at 10:20AM, 10:25 if you ask nicely) It is only a short interstate drive from here to the Causeway, and I will more than happily lead if you guys want.

I think chilling at the Courtney Cambell Causeway at the parking area across from the TAMPA SIDE boat ramp is still a decent idea. Here we can get down on some grub and have time to meet all the people from all the awesome different places. We will also be going picture crazy so I would recommend bringing a camera. You can get in the water from here so swim trunks and towels are optional, though I'm not sure how many will be takin a swim. We will be hangin around the Causeway 'till about 12-1pm.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will be notifying the ones on TR who organized this, hopefully they also choose to wait one more week. If not, I will get as many as possible, and hope you guys bring many too!! Don't worry mine is in need of a serious paint job, car is basically the way I bought it in November except for keeping it clean and changing the oil.No mods except for taillights and side marker lights, bought them to put on the car when it is done, but put on now to make it look a little better for the meet.Was hoping on getting my nice lump sum check before the meet so I could have my car painted,new top/back window,intake,headers, and exhaust,etc.But stuff happens,and I won't be getting my check for a month or two, will attend anyways to show support for the 240s and the verts.With all the convertibles rolling together and then with the rest of the 240s later is going to be so tight.

also, are any of you guys caravannin' into Tampa, or are you all jus goin' Lone Ranger style? would love to track and keep track of how many will be meetin' at the "J"... I myself will most likely have 2 or 3 cars with me, a 13 coupe and 14 zenki... (i know, im ruinin my own roll out... )

I will be riding solo and meeting at the Flying J, but hopefully I will be a able to get 1-5 other convertible 240s. I have never seen so many convertible 240s since I got mine, I have saw atleast 12 in Pinellas County, Port Richey, and New Port Richey. Like 5 or 6 of them were driven by people older than 60 w/ really clean a** cars.

Saw two more verts today,a black one on Belcher Rd. in Palm Harbor around 11:30 and a white one like 10 mins. later at the tax collector office on 19.Both were clean/nice a** cars,by the time I went to the mall and headed home the white vert was gone.I hope they are going to show up or are already going.Thats like 14 different convertibles I have seen.

yea, convertibles are pretty common in the Tampa Bay area, one day i was drivin infront of an older ladie in a stock white vert, it was fun gettin looks from her cause she knew what i was drivin, but since its a lot lower with crazy wheels and a skyline front, she was doubting herself i thought it was funny atleast...

At the event.. plant a seed for NOPI Nationals in Atlanta in Sept. It's a fantastic weekend! I'd absolutely LOVE to see a dozen or more 'verts lined up there in a row. That would ROCK!!!
