Right now it looks like Sunrise Thursday (still waiting for confirmation). Decided to use Wednesday to finish up anything that needs tidying before testing. Hoping to beat te heat and get it all sorted before Noon. We'll see.

OK...Here's the skinny on the weights and balance:

Total weight, without driver and five gallons of fuel: 2370 lbsTotal weight with driver: 2,620 lbs.

LF = 731lbs. RF = 687lbs.LR = 628lbs. RR = 574lbs.

Front = 54.1%Rear = 45.9%Left = 51.9%Right = 48.1%Cross = 50.2%

It was a bit lighter than anyone expected, and I didn't even have time to finish the work that would have probably saved a couple hundred more pounds. Something to work on for next year, I guess. Along with my own weight. I have fifty pounds to lose!

We go to Alamo Autosport tonight to have Brice dial in the motor. I expect to run the motor at Pikes Peak with about 350-375hp. A conservative tune, yes. But the goal this year is to finish and go as easy on parts as possible. We will learn a few things and come back next year and see if we can up the ante.

Thursday we expect to be at Mineral Wells to shake down the car and sort out the suspension.

Can't wait to get the wrap on this weekend. It'll look a bit better in Pink, I think!

Big thanks to my Step-Dad and our family friend, Don Carty for helping me get the car ready over the weekend. We've had more people abandon us over the past year, for one reason or another, but Don and my Dad stuck with me, beleiving I could get the car ready in time for the race.

Thanks.

Dyno Video. 317whp and 300lb ft. @ 10psi. Modest tune to make it live to the summit.

Made it out to Mineral Wells to test. Only there about 30 minutes...busted a power steering line. Getting new hi pressure hoses made tomorrow.

Heading to the Peak on Saturday.

Nice vid, will you guys happen to have any in-car video action for us when you go to the Peak?

I'm debating going out there to Colorado, my family lives up there, it wouldn't be such a bad weekend!
