Figured I would start a new thread just related to the concept drawing.

Check it out!!

Our great friend, and fellow Pikes Peak Competitor, Travis Tollett came up with this concept drawing for us for the paint scheme. We think it's incredible and pretty close to what the final design will be. We are still talking with the Susan G Komen for the Cure people about using their logo, but regardless, the car will still be pink. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and this paint scheme is a tribute to her strength.

Don't be shy...tell us what you think. Remember that this is a PAINT concept drawing and not the final construction product. So, these are not the wheels and wing we are using, and this is not the body kit, etc. This is simply a way for us to get a good look at the paint scheme. Additional details will be included before it's all said and done. Other than that, feel free to give some input.

Later People.

KA24DE-T. Former IMSA motor with 26 to 31lbs of squeeeeze. search for "OFFICIAL Pikes Peak S14 Time Attack - Take Two" for the complete build. If I had any idea how to link that thread here I'd do it for you.

My biological mother is actually fighting breast cancer, I lost my aunt to lung cancer a few months ago. Cancer is no joke and i am glad to hear your mother is a survivor. I think it is awesome that you are dedicating the color scheme to her and her quest through that.

Did he draw all of that?, or is that like a car that he "photo shopped"? Either way it looks awesome! Pikes peak is the Mountain coarse right?

------------

Nm about the photo shopped question i see the gas station in the back ground and i think that is originally that "666Rocket" car or something? Looks amazing though

He found a pic of the Rocket Bunny car and used it to start with. Just needed a clean 240 pic to start with.Pikes Peak is the race that starts at 9400' on the Pikes Peak Highway and goes to the Summit at 14,110'. Fun stuff.

Unfortunately Komen requires a $125,000.00 minimum donation in order to use the logos as they were presented. However we are allowed to use the Pink Ribbon by itself.Shocker Energy Drink has come up with a sizeable sponsorship and has been given quite a bit more real estate in the new design. They are helping us with Entry fee (1250.00), Pit space (1500.00), Wrap (1000.00+), Fan Fest (Some hundreds that has yet to be determined). We are exceedingly grateful for their help.

Here's the new design:

I'll post up the final design when it's completed and some photos of the installation of the wrap. Should be completed by mid April.

Bye.
