Moving onward, some of you may be aware of the vast damages the car experienced in the 2011 running of PPIHC. We see that simply as an opportunity for better advancements on the car
So, without further adieu, let's begin the updates!
The front end is getting a complete rebuild. From some things that were bothering us, to some things that just needed to be fixed, improvements must be had. Included will be a better cooling and intercooler system with some fantastic ducting for proper flow, and the possibility for a real carbon fiber racing splitter!

The engine is getting a full rebuild. After the cooling and headgasket issues, we figured this little KA-t beast needed some love. Stay tuned on the full build up we have planned here
Last year, we had a little headgasket failure...

And it may be hard to see in this pic, but look closely... the edge of the piston is gone!

On to happier news! For those familiar with our remote mount turbo system, and how it used to be behind the passenger seat, well... times are changing! In interest of weight savings and innovation, the seat is now gone, and the turbo will be replacing it! Stay tuned for more on this as well!

In other, not so car-related news, I made a trip up Pike's Peak today to check out the newly paved sections. For those of you somewhat familiar with the race, 2012 is the first year the entire 12.42 mile race will be fully paved from start to finish. I went up to get a look at the new sections, and see the progress that has been made. So far, the 2012 race looks fast

And just because the view from Devil's Playground is beautiful......

Stay tuned everyone! Many more updates to come in the coming year! Don't forget to find us on Facebook and Twitter, links in my sig below!
