Just Bought these FX35 wheels last week and just put the tires on today. Got the wheels pretty cheap, $250, then I just added some bfgoodrich g-force tires. tires are 245/35/20. I like it, just think I need to lower it now.

Seen em on Craigslist, they were posted for a couple weeks for $500, guy was desperate to sell so I offered him $250 and he accepted. Still had the fx tires, so I just switched em out to some low pros and was set! Even for $500 I think it woulda been a good deal, not sure why no one wanted em?!

I have same wheels I paid 1100 few years back but with low pros already. Those wheels aren't cheap. I called local dealer back then they where around a grand with out center cap or tpms. Very good find. Car looks good almost changed mine but I'm gonna leave it alone. Grabbed a motorcycle instead. My opinion id lower it. I got my car on espilars but hope to switch out to some d2 coilovers soon. Kind of put the car to the side since the bike purchase

In terms of clearance/rubbing, any issues with the 20" rims on a stock suspension? Is your car an X or just 2wd?

Not at all, still feels like stock wheels. Second set of 20's, had 20x9.5, 20x8 staggered setup before and also had no problems at all with rubbing or clearance.

None for me I'm on espilar springs after having them for a couple years the back sits lower then usual rear tire sits in the quarter panel a little with no one sitting in it. Also have had a full car where the tire is tucked in and all u see Is rim and have had no issues. I've had my setup for a while now. And have no complaints except with the espilar the car sits higher in the front. Plan on swapping them out for coilover kit soon. I have a few pics of my car around the forum with the rims and drop. I'm on my phone now so can't post any pics rite now. If u want u could look through my posts and you should see some pics of how it looks

Thank you. BTW, I've been a member here for a while but have rarely visited and never posted. I owned a ZR1 Corvette up until I bought my first M35x, a brand new 2006. I modified/optimized my ZR1 over a span of 12 years or so. Knew everything there was to know about the car. We had an active forum and large knowledge base but this site is so much larger in size and scope. Pretty awesome. I've owned more Infiniti's than any other brand:

1) 2006 M35X Twilight blue/Wheat Journey/Technology/Nav packages
2) 2012 QX 56 Dark Currant/Wheat w/22" wheel, Deluxe Tour, Theatre, and Technology packages
3) 2009 G37X Sd Blue Slate/Wheat Technology/Nav
4) 2009 M35X Blue Slate/Black Adv Tech/Tech packages

The only mods I made to the "fleet" were to replace the badyear oem tires with Toyo Versados on the 2006 M35 and tint the front windows to match OEM rear tinted windows on the QX 56 and 2009 M35. I'm now looking at modifying my 2009 M35X. Want to add a mellow/quiet stainless cat back or axle back exhaust system (mainly for appearance), wheels/tires and brakes. The car is still under warranty so I'm not looking to mod the engine right now. I've read that you can swap out OEM brakes for G37 brakes? Does the G have larger rotors/calipers? Thanks

hey guys, newbie to the forum here. i just bought a 06 M35x. i was looking to buy 20" rims. I was doing some reading but i cant get a solid answer. heard i cant go for the staggared look with the AWD cause it will scrw with the differential. so i need for go the same size all around.
- what size should i get? 20x8 / 20x8.5 /20x9 / 20x9.5 ?? w/ no rub

i would also like to lower it. i've been reading that the Espilar springs wont give it a even lowered look (rear is lower than fronts)
- whats the best road to take? Coil overs?

Any suggestions

The car is uneven factory and the espilars are a even drop so its just lower I believe 1.25" all around. I have had them on my car for a few years now. Had no issues besides the fact my front was higher then the rear. Mainly went with the espilars because I got them for cheap from a forum member new. I believe the espilars are over 500 new so for that price I would just go with coilovers. I'm going with d2. As for rims I was gonna take my fx rims off n out some wheels they reccomended me 20x9 all the way around. And said to me I would have no problem. Hope this helps

Ok i cant stand my oem wheels anymore, but i dont have that much $$$ to spend. So i found these Varrstoen ES1 and Varrstoen ES5 good reviews and quality is nice too. I couldn't find any pics with those on M35/45 but which ones you think would look better? Maybe someone got these rims? I know fat3oy does, here is his car cant see rims though but i like what i see :)

Low_life - how much negative camber are you running in the rear?

Very nice post! Great for ideas! I have one question. If I wanted to install 20 x 9.5 et 40 all around would I need to do fender work?

You will be fine, one place to help with specs is the offset calculator on 1010 tires .com once you know how many mm it sticks out measure that from the tire to the fender.
