Haha, airbags I wish. Good 'ol cut springs w/ the bottoming out front struts. Next month I'll try the Z32 struts so I don't bottom out everywhere. Happy new year!!!

[QUOTE=Haitian_King.........Is that the look I can expect from some Eibachs?.........[/QUOTE]

Nope!! I got Eibachs and I can tell you that the fender gap is a little bigger than this. If I had to guess I'd say airbagit or the like.

I was told that if you ever go to a car show with cut springs, you'll get laughed off the grounds. What's the lowest it can go without cutting springs? 2 inches?

I could barely make out where the Q45 was and that's because I knew where to look.

I like the new wheels. But why are you sanding them? I'm new to the custom wheel colors. What sort of paint do you use? Regular spray paint? I saw my friend do his RSX a matte black and it just looked dirty. Maybe it was just a primer coat, I haven't seen the car in a couple of months.
Where the paint looks good, it looks really good. But there's a lot of spots on the roof that are badly oxidized and the paint is starting to peel on the rear bumper.

You have to sand them to rough up the surface so the paint sticks to the rims. I use a 320 grit sandpaper, then a 3M scotchbrite pad and then rubbing alcohol to make sure the surface is 100% free of any contaminants. I use a satin finish spraypaint and then some clearcoat - I don't like the flat black look but I don't want them to be ridiculously shiny either. I used this technique on a set on rims for my Subaru and they came out well. All it takes is a few hours of prep time and $25 in supplies.

I followed what another G50 owner did from another forum saying the ride isn't that bad. Compared to a different car I've ridden in with cut springs, the G50 really isn't THAT bad. It is what it is though, a car on cut springs. I regret it though b/c the front struts bottom out on almost any bump. I've won a set of 300ZX struts on ebay and plan on doing an install/write-up sometime next month. Stay tuned!

I love the wheels. I really like how deep they are without having to resort to retard camber. Why are you selling?

I'd love to get that aero kit if you're going to get rid of it.

Yeah that's one of the 1st things to go. I am in a situation where I can get something else for a decent price so I will let the kit go CHEAP. I'll PM you here or on VSC when the time comes.

As for wheels, I have heard nothing but, You need more camber and flushness. The rears could probably use to lose another 5mm of offset but the front are rubbing as it is.

the rear isn't a garnish, it's an actual JDM President trunk.

Cool. What was that about the wheels? How bad is the rub? Is your car lowered?

Question about the kit. Will it go right onto my Q? I have the belt buckle front, not the 94-96 grille. Will that be a problem?

No it won't fit then. sides and rear will but the front bumper won't since it was modded to fit a (94-96). Sorry man.

Must maximize suspension and frame damage!

Remember, few present owners have ever driven one of these in as new OEM condition, so they have no idea what they are missing.

But they sure are kewl.

What an endorsement!

At least it was no one on this forum.

Very nice. That's the nav unit I'd look to put in. I love your paint. The tints go well with it too.

Very nice Q.

The car looks so brand new. Like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Posterboy for a restored Q.
