Man, they really added a lot of personal favorites for me this time around. I see at least 25 new cars that I was hoping for in this one

I'm very glad I pre-ordered this, although I wish I would've went ahead and got the Ultimate Edition, but oh well. I'll just download it later.

Oh, wait, I know why: because kids buy racing games, and their daddies bought them Corollas, so now they can feel cool while they drive "their" car in a game. f*** that s***.

They had the CTS-V in Forza 3. Don't see why wouldn't have in in 4. As for the civic and corolla they are just cult cars.

Yep, they had the first gen CTS-V and the current CTS-V Sedan and Coupe. Along with the Pontiac G8, Pontiac GTO, Holden HSV 427, and Vauxhall Monaro VXR.

Nice car list but I will have to agree with MoD. 94 civic 1.5 liter, Nissan leaf, other 60hp hybrids, wtf ?? And the cars that actaully have potential are non existant. The other thing I hate is that in every racing game I have ever had, it's always a jdm tyte Sylvia or a 180sx, not the American 240sx.

I remember being pissed at GT5 for this (another reason why it sucked). Half the cars were weak or oooold pos's or hybrids that could barely reach 100mph on a test track. I don't care if it has 1000+ cars, it doesn't mean ish if it's all crap!

This isn't even touching the beginning of the car list, you'll see a lot more announced before the game is released, but i'm not one bit disappointed so far. I don't care for Hybrids and Electric crap, but the 94 Civic is an awesome car, mainly because of the engine swaps available for it. Hot hatches are cool man

Every car has it's place, even though i'm a huge muscle car fan, i've come to appreciate the fun factor of the smaller cars too. Now, things like a Toyota Corolla seem out of place, but i'm perfectly happy to see a Nissan Versa hatch or a Nissan Sentra. I enjoy my Versa hatch quite a bit in FM3 for the lower end races.

Also, if you would've looked closer at the car list, there IS an american 240SX this time around

Just preordered my Collectors Edition yesterday, so can't wait for this game now. Saw actual game play graphics of it in action on Top Gear US this past week and it looks so real. They've tweaked the physics, and have a partnership with Pirelli tires this time around and have used the actual tire physics data in game, so all the tires used in the game with have real world data affecting how your car handles. As far as the car list how the hell can you even begin to complain about the choices, the game is shipping with some 500 cars already in the game and a ton more coming as DLC in the future. You can guarantee that the new 2012 CTS-V will be included since it's been in every other Forza released.

I'm more interested in the new Autovista mode and am looking forward to getting more details about, but so far as I can tell it allows you to walk through a virtual museum and using Kinect you can walk around and examine each car or you can take a guided tour with Jeremy Clarkson himself acting as the tour guide and giving his own personal perspective of the cars in the mode. So far the cars I know in the Autovista mode are like the Ferarri Enzo and the Warthog from Halo, while I'm sure they won't have every car in the game, it does appear that a lot of the more exotic cars in the game will be.

^^ I was actually thinking about that after I posted. Civic swaps are awesome, I forgot that game did that.

I'm not really complaining about the list, the list is great. I just don't like seeing cars from 1908 that you have to race and 42 hp cars that have 0 purpose or desire. I would actually buy and xbox ONLY for this game. I saw Forza 2 at a friends house and it was a pretty cool. This game is what I want Gran Turismo to be for us playstation users, but unfortunately it's not even close. Why is it so hard to ask for a good racing game?!?!

You obviously didnt read the whole list or you would have seen that 1994 Nissan 240SX SE is in red bold print. Also the 1994 Silvia K is the first year of the S14 chassis, so the 94 Silvia K is actually an S14.

It has nothing to do with muscle or size. It doesn't even have to do with the Civic NOT belonging in this game. My vexation is due to the LACK of cars, not the presence of cars.

94 Sylvia k is still a Japanese name regardless of the body style. I'd prefer them to use a 95 240sx instead, and with the dam KA, but that's just me. Or both of them as I now see.

Ok, calm down MoD... you do realize that they're releasing a 10 car DLC EVERY MONTH for at least a whole year right? That means 120 cars that you won't know about until each DLC is released. Plus the list above is nowhere near complete and they're not done announcing the cars. They announce a new batch of cars every week and the game won't be released for another month. The game will be released with 500 cars on the disc and a DLC will be released right after the game that will add an additional 10 cars.

The Q45 isnt on anyones radar in the grand scheme of car games. The closest youll get is the Nisa Cima and Nissan President in the Import Tuner game that came out with the original xbox 360. The 04 CTS V was just anounced to be back in Forza 4 which means to 2012 CTS V will be in the game.

Oh, well if that's your frustration, then it might be a longshot. I can't say out of all the car requests i've seen on the Forza Motorsport forums, that i've seen a single request for a Q or similar. It seems like they try to fulfill everyones requests that are in demand, but I don't see a Q45 in the cards, unless we get a bunch of guys from here to hammer their forums for one.

I would like to see more Infiniti's in the game, like the Q45, G sedan, M56, M30, and J30.
