Whats up all. I'm Johnny Jones from chicago and I just picked up a 2003 Q. Back in the day I had a 95 but I turned to Lexus for many years and many different models, I still have an 98 GS300. I got a good deal (I think) on my Q $9k. It has 111,5XX on the dash. My plans are kinda simple, Garson interior accesories, im kinda undecided on a kit or not, coil-overs<->air when I get the dough, and the wheel design below, not sure what company though.

Tell me what ya'll think.

My first Q was a 1994. Ran it to 186,000 miles and traded it in on a 2000. Lost that one in Katrina. Replaced that one with an 2002 Q45. Ran it to 128,000 miles and it was totaled 11/12/09....A very bad day for car but no injuries, Thank God.

Looked long and hard and found this 2006 Q45s with 45,0000 miles. Love this car.

Love the forum, keep the pictures coming.

welcome lannyt,

a hardcore Qguy!

love the brand loyalty.question: I have a 02Q45 sport.does the 06 feel or drive any differnet than the 02?I know that the rear end is tighter 02 2.76 03-06 3.XX

But does the car 'feel' different?

Thanks. I loved my 02 but I must say the 06 rides and shifts much better. The transmission in the 06 shifts much smoother. I think the 02 had a little better take off power. I like baby mnie though. I travel for a living and need these to last. Great forum but we need more post!!

Lets hear from all the Q owners!!!

Merry Christmas!!

I also travel. I have 185k on my 02.I have been running 255x45x18 instead of the 245x45x18 that was stock.gives me better mpg on the road and a little wider footprint.I ve been running them since 60k

I am looking for recommendations on new tires for the 06. I have the 19" rims and am looking for a good quiet tire that I can get 30K+ miles out of. Any ideas?

Kumho makes a great A/S tire (Ecsta) that's quiet and will get you 30k+ miles.

seldom is right.

i'm just not sure if it's in a 19 but i'm on my 4th set!I got 37k out of the last set.

I have gotten 33K + on every set. I'm in sacramento so I never see snow and hardly any rain (lots of sunshine)

You may want to start a new thread so it appears in the main Q site.

Hey guys, I was looking at an '02 with 81K to trade my SER for. I wanted to ask how reliable these were and what kinds of problems you guys were having with them.

howe's the ride with 2 inchs missing? Did you use lowering springs?

Yea it does have the electronic suspension... I didn't wanna cut the springs or anything like that so I used coil spring clamps. I know its probably frowned on but it still rides great because I didn't really change spring rates much. I've drove it for about two weeks so far and haven't bottomed out or anything. Plus it only cost me 20 bucks to do it lol.

i had to use those once on a 73 mustang that had been wrecked.

I had used lowering springs for about 6 months. Really didn't like the ride w them so i went back to stock. (I have the electronic suspension also)

Are there any stock foglights available? And I'm thinking about selling my wheels I'm wanting something a little less flashy.

I was in the market for smaller (re: cheaper) Infinitis, but this car just fell into my lap. Picked up this 2002 Q45 two days ago (117k miles). I am really liking this car. (major understatement)

After 8 years, I'm finally back in an Infiniti. :-) My first, a 1990 G50, finally failed me at 230,000 miles. Was the MAF - replaced it with one I thought was working, but apparently it wasn't. The next owner was able to get it going, though. :)

I commissioned last week as a 2LT in the Army, so I figured it was time to get rid of the literally-falling-apart '99 Jimmy. I'd been watching for F50 Q45s for a month or two on cars.com and autotrader.com, and had my eye on a black\black '02 in Minneapolis with 112,000 on the clock. We went up to take a look on Monday, and it was pretty much perfect. There's a scuff on the front bumper that I just sanded out - other than that, it's pretty much perfect. It's been a little hesitant starting a few times yesterday and today, but I'm not gonna jump to any conclusions yet. Will try a few different fuels out, maybe a fuel injector cleaner. If it keeps up, will be taking a look at the fuel pump and spark plugs. No navigation, and I REALLY want a Bluetooth deck, so I'll be trying to figure out the most graceful way to do that.

So far, I've done pretty much nothing to it except a good detailing. ClayBar (was pretty unncessary, paint is in great condition) some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to get rid of some minor swirl marks, followed by steps 1, 2, and 3 of the Meguiar's Deep Crystal system.

And without further adieu...
