Ok guys heres another pic from the last setup that where the first set for the new angel eyes (thin ones) these things are alot better then the last, there about twice as thick, the connections are more solid and i dont think we will have any problems with these. im glad everyone is liking the lights so far, any problems that have come up have been taken care of and always will, i said it from day one ill make sure you guys are happy with what your getting. i dont have any spare lights at the moment as there being used for warranty work so theres no downtime, but if someone wants to send there lights in and can spare a week or so of downtime ill be happy to bump them up the list.

new angel eyes

Just to let you guys know, it cost me $37 to ship them the cheapest through the USPS from Orlando, FL. I know they were probably backed up a little bit since it was close to christmas but it took a full week for them to get there. Just getting that info out there.

Hey guys, the HID kit that I am going to be installing is the Apexcone 55 watt Race Kit with 8000k bulbs. I have bought and installed about 6 Apexcone kits for my car and my friend's cars and I really like the quality of the kits and how helpful the reps are. In my Mazda6, I installed the 55 watt race kit with 6000k bulbs and was very happy with them. Then in the A/C, I went with the 35 watt street kit with 6000k bulbs because I didn't have projectors and it would just be too much glare for oncoming traffic with the 55 watt kit. Now I can have the ones that I really want

I will be installing them tonight and will post pics tomorrow

i know the last set i sent out to a member on here customs opened them i believe and broke a tab off. i dont know whats with these guys at the border. only benefit of it is you can claim insurance which sometimes will pay for the full retrofit.

Ok guys i got a light back saying that the angel eye was not working and what not. paid for the shipping back to me and was going to pay the shipping back out. i plugged the light in and it fired up on the first try even wiggled the wires and it didnt burn out or nothing, this isnt the first time its happened. i think alot of people are having trouble with the wiring and are either crossing the wires or arnt getting a solid connection so please before you tell me that something isnt working double check it

Well, I have to say when I was packing up the lights and disconnecting the angel eyes connections from the ballast, all of them came off easy except one. It was on the driver side light and I had already told Brandon that the angel eyes sometimes worked and sometimes it didn't. After prying the connection off and closely inspecting it, I noticed that the connector was burned.

Hopefully the new angel eyes that Brandon is installing don't burn the connection. It would suck having $1K lights melt!

hey the burn might have been from the heat shrink or soldering id have to see it. did the plastic on the connector melt? or have like a brown tinge to it?

The burn was inside the connector. No physical signs of burn on the outside of the connector or wire.

thats my light hes talking about and trust me when i say that i double/triple/quadruple checked that all the connections were good and solid before i spent the time to take the light back off, put the stock one back on, pack the light back up, and ship it back out to Brandon. it wasnt the connection to the stock parking light plug that was the problem. even though just plugging those terminals into the plug held good enough, i even taped them up with electrical tape, and even made sure those connections didnt move when i was wiggling the wires around to get the light to flicker. i looked into the headlight housing and saw that when the wire that was connected to the angel eye itself was moved, this is what caused the angel eye to flicker. it seemed like the connection of the wire to the angel eye, however its connected, wasnt solid.....not the connection of the terminal into the stock parking light plug.

Got my headlights today! They look amazing. I won't have time to install and wire them up until tomorrow but until then I couldn't be happier. Thanks again Brandon!

glad your happy with your lights. one of his lights when he sent it to me the glass was completely cracked from an accident i believe he was in so we had to swap that out with another one i had lying around. was def the hardest light to do pulling out the glass piece by piece, (had to atually cut out the glass left about an inch around the border then picked that out piece by piece)

i was just looking through the pages trying to find my disclaimer but theres so many pages so im going to post this up here as well.if anyone has recieved there lights thats waiting to instal them i posted this before, but if you do them yourself or are having trouble take them to a shop to get them isntalled as i cant be held responsible for any problems or damage that are caused during instalation unless i perform the instalation myself. If any parts are found to not be working once recieved please send me an email letting me know and i can address the situation then. Also remember modifying your car can cause issues with warranty, insurance and the police. Like when i modified my subaru and blew the bottom end because of a lack of oil warranty and insurance would not cover my $5000 problem lol

oh yeah it's hardly noticable. i had to go get them from the post office during my lunch break (I truly do hate that place). Everyone at work had me open them up and were oohing and aahing at your work.

one guy even wanted me to give him your number brandon for you to do his headlights on his grand marquis lol.

i will post pics tomorrow after i install and wash the car. my d2s bulbs wont be in till wed at the earliest though.

brandon, question on wiring, i saw 2 or 3 different sets of wires. where do i wire the white wires that go into that black box then come out with the red and blue? I also saw the green and brown ones. I'm assuming one of those is for the angel eye but I have no clue as to what the other one is.
