brandonbeeb wrote:ok guys i need to clear something up, i recieved an email today and i want to know who this is because if there has been any problems with the orders so far i havnt heard any negative feedback from the people that recieved them so i would be hoping that if they whernt happy with what they recieved they would let me know so i could address it. anyways this is the email i recievedBrandon,

I have few concerns. I called DDM Tuning and talked to there R&D and Sales Reps. They have never heard of you, or this supposed Altima Coupe coil over system you have set up. This raises eyebrows in my book, and puts you on a thin line considering I have had calls from members complaining of your headlights not being the quality you advertised.

From what I directly know about you, you're a good guy. I have only heard those few negative comments by phone, which I'm positive you will take care of. However, now is one of those times where you need to be very clear about what you say. I expect a response within the next 24 hours, or I am removing the Coilover thread on principle. Thanks.
give us the email and we'll know who sent you.

and it's weird that people had bad things to say about the quality, you did surman and mr.coupe and dom. and they all liked their headlights .spock had some probs but you fixed it each time for him so I don't understand

hey i never got your email can you resend it to me and ill make sure it isnt in my junk mail folder.

honestly only 3 people have the lights and spocks i know there was a touch up that needed to be made and it was just due to a time issue but im not sure who it was because the 3 people who have them havnt had any complaints and it bothers me that a mod would tell me im on a thin line because of complaints ive never even heard

yeah I am not sure whom is complaining about their headlights, from what I have read, the two people whom have them love them. I have a few quarks with mine, but Brandon has promised to fix them, but in all fairness to the community its after he is done all your orders. Not a big deal since my lights are 99% perfect and the amount of money I have paid for my lights is peanuts compared to the prices some of you guys have forked over.

Not to mention how many times Brandon has bent over backwards, to get the lights ready, so I can the y-pipe prototype done.

Brandon... whats the wiring schematic... The leds, halos, wired together? To a switch? Drivers choice?

The wiring is up to each person how they want it. some want to run it through switches some dont so it goes by who ever wants it but everything is marked positive and negative so its a simple instal. heres a video i shot instead of pictures to prove i have nothing to hide, you guys seen the pictures and the video of them with the lights on but heres one of just the lights as you would see them when you unwrapped them. Take in mind i need to clean these up and do a few minor things before they get shipped out but its just to show you whats there. tried to avoid the glare from the lights but its hard and it makes it look like scratches on certain parts where there isnt. i found out about the complaint but i wont mention any names on here and was kind of suprised because i was told otherwise by the person so im kind of confused. anyways heres that vid and like i said if anyone wants out of the groupbuy just send me an email and we can figure something out because i know even after that email was posted ive had about 5 emails asking me to change my mind about opening up more spots. With all of the remaining orders you guys will be looked after, everything will be done the same way as it was with other clients. i will keep you updated throughout the retrofit and send you emails with pictures as well as a final email before i ship them out so you can let me know if you want anything changed or if you arnt happy with it. the same thing goes that if you recieve your lights back and your not happy honestly just let me know and ill get it all cleared up for you. Ive never had a any major concerns with my product before, there is the occasional thing here and there but ive always made sure to look after it. The 1% problem with spocks was the one headlight the silicone ran down because i didnt have time to let it dry. He will be comming back next weekend as ive already arranged for him to drop it off and ive even offered him to borrow my lights just so he doesn't have any downtime. If anyone that goes with dual setups is worried about condensation in there lights just shoot me an email and ill seal up the whole where the factory parking light went. If your going with the dual setup also let me know if you want the factory parking light spot sealed up or how you want me to put it as i've had different request for it. if you choose not to let me seal it (some people want it open to plug it with there own thing or need to get in there for what ever reason) it may not seal fully unless its blocked off, so far the orders that ive done with them that haven't been closed havnt had any condensation problems so its a hit or miss thing. Anyways this is my last gb item i am doing here but feel free to email me as i will still be doing my own projectors like projector fogs and led tails i just wont be doing them through here but am always open to doing them for an individual. thanks for understanding everyone-Brandon Retro Lite

ok so i found out the problem and im fixing it for the member it will be kept quiet on here but everything is being looked after. i just want people to know that the dual projectors use different bulbs in the highbeams i can include the connectors if you like but you need to do a simple connection with them, ill include the vampire clips as well. also the highbeam projectors are aimed exactley as they are in a stock halogen setup they just have a different light pattern so some of you may not be used to it.

A little bit of excess glue on the shroud, no biggie, but I want them to be perfect, brandon has promised me he will fix it.

But before this there were alignment issues, which brandon fixed, and learned how to have the projectors properly aimed, when sitting in the car.

I was unhappy with the original shroud. Brandon put the Gatling gun shrouds on for me.

The only downside doing the prototype was the bumps especially alignment that took a couple of tries to fix, and the 45min drive (1.5 hrs there and back home) to brandons everytime he needed the lights, or picking up the lights.

Brandon...it might be smart just to email everyone before you work on their lights just to clear up any loose ends.

Of course I am jealous of your new bbk, but instead of the bbk I am going to have a sound system that will make you cream your self. Plus I wasn't hatein on you danger, I was haten on LBC for his cali comment. lolDon't hate me, cause you aint me.

Brandon, are you able to put a sequential turn signal kit in for the headlights, or are the led's wired individually so I can install one.

Infantry, I believe he runs them out of the housing so you can wire them up the way you need to wire them. I could be wrong though

My car looks wierd without the headlights...seems like something is missing but I just can't seem to put my finger on it...

hey, there actually run out the back into one wire for positive and negative, if your interested in doing sequentials you could always get led mounted on the side of the amber so they both light up like a row there and a row on top and wire each pair in sequence so the top and the side run together.
