ok mates, lets post up some aggressive offsetted m's and what was required to get lowered numbers to fit, whether it be simple fender pull, quarter modifications, etc.!!

recently picked up a set of 20" avante garde m350's with a +15 offset all around and im determined to get these to fit with coilovers (d2's), so lets get this slamfest started

i got 20x9+15 all around. got a part sponsorship deal on them as well. im eventually gonna be picking up a set of 20x10 rears in a +20 offset and running a 285/30/20 to kep it within spec, and ill use the 2 extras as spares, etc.

my current setup is 20x8.5+32 all around and i have maybe 2mm from my akebono calipers up front, and some room for the wheels to camber in once i swap these teins for coils

We're you finding the coilovers I want to swap out my espilars for coilovers. The espilars sit high in the front still I don't like it. Some shop in my area told me 1050 without install for Megan coilovers. I'm looking for more options. And what's good or not. Don't have much knowledge when it comes to coilovers.

Definitely trying to rip you off! You can get em on eBay for 750 shipped just lowball offer a seller and they will give you that price. Install isn't that difficult, but if your not comfortable or would like someone with experience to do it, you can bring it to a couple different shops and get prices on coil over installs

Great thread idea, but I'm not sure how many members actually mod like this on this forum. Hope to be in here soon!

Thanks I checked on eBay found a set of Megan coils for under 900 but it doesn't say if it's for AWD or not. I'll contact the seller. Do u know if the megans are good by any chance?

Megans are great bang for your buck. All my friend s ride it. They also go.extremely low. I wouldn't recommend another brand unless you want a flashy name like jic or are planning to track your vehicle competitively.

You need either k sport or d2racing coilovers. The X models requiere a special mounting bracket up front.

To add to the OP's request I guess my offsets are more on the aggressive side than the norm so I will post em just in case others would like to know. I have 20x8.5 <o> disk +18 up front and 20x8.5 <o> disk +23 rear with 245/35/20. If you have eibach springs this will have your tires flush with the fender. If anyone wants to know what this will look like on a non lowered M let me know what your height is front and rear and I will set me height to match and snap a pic for you.

I see people talking about camber issues etc. ima a noob when it comes to that. I do plan on getting some aftermarket 20's summer time. Thanks for your help

itzonlytone - there is an Official Wheels/Rims Thread that you can search for which has a variety of setups with details like suspension, etc. Mexillis did post in that thread.

I do have an offset question for you guys though, albeit not aggressive.

My OEM rims (3 of them) are slightly bent so I'm probably just going to go out and buy another set of 18's (or 20's).

I'm looking at Sport Edition KV5 (ballin on a budget lol)...18x8 or 20x8.5. Both are +45. I'm AWD and not dropped (no plans to also). Which one should I go with? And will I need spacers to flush it out?

I haven't seen anyone with megans on awd M's coulda missed it though. Your camber can be negative and not cause problems. If your toe is off your tires will wear out quickly. I have -2.5f and -3.5 r or should I say had since I'm on bags now. I will post a pic later for you itzon.. iyakol id add a 20mm spacer and see how you like that and go with the 20"s with 255/35/20 or michellin ps2 they tend to run thicker sidewalls in any size they offer from what I've seen.

No offense, but I spent hours making that FAQ and if newbies like you aren't going to use the guide, then what use is it? Not to mention questions being asked/re-asked 10000000 times. Since you obviously didn't find the right thread (you said no pictures?) here:

official-wheel-rim-thread-t509538.html

Everything you need to know is in there. There is a bunch of other setups in there that my interest you. However, I do take back my comment about Mexillis posting in there...I guess he keeps his setup close to heart. He commented on other setups, but I don't see his setup posted there.

Carry on...

Oh okay. That's up to the posters in here.

That's why I created that Official thread last year or whenever it was. Anyway...sorry OP for the OT stuff.

well got my new wheels in yesterday, and damn are they pretty! went square for now, but will definitely upgrade to a staggered setup and run a set of 245/35/2- front and 285/30/20 rear (on 20x9 and 20x10) to keep it within spec for the awd setup. the offsets are pretty aggressive at +15 all around but im determined to make it work. my current wheels are +32 all around and theyre not exactly flush, so im looking to slam it and dial in the camber to get a perfect aggressive stance. im going for some poke here on a very very very mild stretch.

My current wheels are 20x10 -6 and 20x11 0. They do fit under the stock fenders w/ a crazy pull but have the car in at the body shop for some well needed widening.
