I finally got the literature in from Infiniti/Nissan Motor Company and it lists all the changes for the G35's! I don't have a FAST CD yet (Nissan's part number system) so I can't tell the specific part changes, but I thought this was pretty good information. Some of it has already been posted, but I don't think all of it has been posted yet, so hopefully this helps!

2005 G35 and G35 Coupe:

Models and Packages

Base Trim Level Discontinued - G35s and G35 Coupes with cloth interior are no longer available.

Sport-Tuned Suspension Package added to Coupe - Sport Tuned package for coupe is targeted directly at the performance level of BMW 330Ci with Sport package. Equipment (standard with manual transmission) includes:- Viscous Limited-Slip rear Differential (VLSD)- Sport-Tuned Suspension- 19x 8.0-inch front, 19 x 8.5-inch rear forged aluminum-alloy wheels- P225/40-19 front, P245/40-19 rear W-speed rated summer compound tires- Drilled aluminum pedals- Perforated-leather-wrapped steering wheel with unique stitching

Sport-Tuned Suspension Package revised (sedan) – The Sport-Tuned suspension Package is revised on 2-wheel-drive sedans equipped with automatic transmission (it’s contents are standard on sedans with manual transmissions). The package now includes:- Sport-Tuned Suspension- 18 x 7.5 lightweight cast aluminum-alloy wheels with sport design- P235/45-18 W-speed-rated summer compound tires- Viscous Limited-Slip rear Differential (VLSD)

Revised Option Package - G35 and G35 Coupe option packages have been revised. *For a complete list of packages and their contents see brochure*

Engine

Engine Output increased - G35 equipped with automatic transmission now produces 280 horsepower and 270 foot-pounds of torque. This increase is the result of revised engine management system programming. Sedans and coupes with manual transmissions (late availability) produce 298 horsepower and 260 foot-pounds of torque. Redline is also raised to 7000 rpm. These increases were achieved by modifying and strengthening some internal engine components and adding a variable valve timing control system to the exhaust camshafts.

Drivetrain

6-speed manual transmission revised (late availability) – Triple-cone 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-gear synchronizers reduce shift effort. Softer mounts improve shift smoothness and reduce shift lever vibration.

Snow mode switch relocated (G35 AWD) – The snow mode switch is now on the lower dash, between the steering wheel and the air conditioning controls.

Brakes

Brake system enhanced – G35s (except G35 AWD) and G35 Coupes receive larger-diameter brake rotors with revised brake pads to enhance durability while helping reduce brake noise and dusting

Brembo Braking system discontinued – The Brembo braking system is no longer available on G35 coupes.

Exterior

Exterior Styling Revised (sedan) – G35 Sedans receive exterior styling updates that increase their resemblance to G35 Coupe:- Redesign hood, front grille, bumper, and headlight assembly finisher - Body-color side sills and lower rear bumper- Redesigned trunk lid and rear bumper. Redesigned rear light assembly has double-ring motif.

Exterior Color Revisions – Sedans: Lakeshore Slate and Serengeti Sand are added. Desert Platinum and Caribbean Blue are discontinued.Coupes: Athens Blue, Lakeshore Slate, and Serengeti Sand are added. Desert Platinum, Twilight Blue, and Caribbean Blue are discontinued.

Interior

Interior Styling Revised – The dash, center console, and interior trim have been redesigned to enhance the sporty, premium appeal of the G35 and G35 Coupe:- Steeper slant to center dash- Rotary knobs for audio volume and HVAS temperature- Real aluminum trim on dash, center console and doors- Restyled A/T finisher and leather shift bootAvailable genuine wood interior trim now features straight-grained rosewood (late availability on G35 Coupe). In addition, wood trim application is increased (replace all aluminum interior trim).

8-way power driver’s seat (G35 Coupe) – An 8-way power driver’s seat is now standard on G35 Coupe.

4-way power passenger’s seat (G35 Coupe) – A 4-way power front-passenger’s seat is now standard on G35 Coupe.

Power walk-in device revised (G35 Coupe) – The front-passenger seatback now returns to its previous position, rather than to a standard position.

Interior color revisions – Wheat and Stone interior colors are added. Willow is discontinued.

Comfort and Convenience

Telescopic adjustment added to steering column; power adjustment optional – All G35S’s and G35 Coupes now have tilt and telescopic steering column adjustments. Power adjustment is available as part of the Premium Package.

Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) standard on G35 Coupe – G35 Coupe now features standard ATC (previously optional).

Sunglasses holder revised – The overhead console’s sunglasses holder is now larger

Steering-wheel-mounted controls revised – Audio and cruise control switches are now illuminated.

Intelligent Key (Optional on G35 and G35 AWD) – Intelligent Key is now available on G35 and G35 AWD as part of the Premium Package.

Infiniti Navigation System Enhanced – In addition to a larger display (7-inch vs. previous 6.5-inch), Infiniti Navigation System performance is enhanced:- Now calculates route of any length within the U.S.- Processor upgrades help shorten route calculation time- Improved joystick operation.

Trunk storage added – vehicles equipped with a space-saver spare tire now have a small storage area under the trunk floor.

Instrumentation

Analog gauges redesigned – Gauge layout is altered and design is revised for enhanced readability and sporty appearance.- Gauges feature ring illumination and 3-dimensional design.- Negative-type LCD’s are used for odometer and trip odometers- New upshift light (M/T) and gear range indicator (A/T) also feature negative-type LCD’s

Analog clock revised – The clock is now part of the center dash display, so it remains visible when the navigation screen (if equipped) is in use.

Audio Systems

Audio systems revised – MP3 file format playback capability is added to all audio systems. The cassette player is deleted.

Satellite radio prewired (Optional) (2004 running change) – The optional Bose audio system is prewired for available satellite radio installation.

MP3 playback – G35 is the first Infiniti vehicle to offer the ability to play CDs containing files in the MP3 format.

Great info Joe. Sounds like Infiniti is making the G35 an even better car than it already is.
