Gentlemen (and ladies), seems there has been some disagreement about forum utilization within the G35 forum recently. Historically, the NICO forum has kept the individual car forums from going offtopic by utilizing the NICO General Chat forum as OT threads, while increasing camaraderie, do seem to clutter up the forums somewhat from those looking for vehicle-specific information. But, times change and we (Admin Staff) are all aware that those with a feather like to flock together and some changes are "in the works".

In the future, you will see the G-forums as a completely seperate set of sub-forums within NICO. We performed this on the Atima Forums a month or so ago and are still working out the "kinks" ( http://forums.altimas.org ). Once these small issues are taken care of, we do plan on performing similar changes to numerous vehicle-only forums on NICO, including the G community.

We may be able to do something relatively quickly (within the next couple weeks) or it may take a month or so in order to get this in place as the timeframe is depicted upon getting the issues we have run into resolved. Please bear with us while we work to convert the NICO single-threaded forum configuration into a multi-tiered Nissan/Infini community.

As far as the earlier thread, seems it went to crap pretty quickly. Let's get over that and go forward. The last thing any of us want is for the community to fracture due to the extreme growth we are having.

Thanks guys

It would have been done by now other than reasons beyond my control.

At this point, just go ahead and let OT topics stay as long as it does not become too much.

Yes it is. Hope to see everyone back with their happy lil fingers mashing the keyboard as usual.

Time to leave for work... see y'all soon.

And yes, after a few years of having too long a screen name, it is finally changed to what everyone calls me anyways.

Does this have to do with the missing "The G35 forum members picture thread... Introduce yourself" thread? I thought it was kinda cool to put faces to names.

Do you guys have them in Canada or is everything Hockey and beer? Not that a Country made up souly for the purpose of making good beer and generating hockey players a bad thing.

How does it take you to get to "the falls"?

I'm the one who caused the problem. I posted pictures of me and a semi nude Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie partying on the love boat at Marina Del Rey. I guess nudz pics are improper here.

It's locked up nice and tight where only a few can get to it. You're safe.

I don't know. No one has said that I've heard. Maybe one of the G mods can shed some light on it.

Because I was moving the off topic threads yesterday, and I didn't want anyone saying "you didn't move that thread only because you created it". So it was the first one that I moved.

Guys, this speaks leaps and bounds about your true character. Not many forums that I know of would be so accomodating to create a new sub-forum for their dedicated enthusiasts to share in non-specific related topics.

I wasn't trying to start a mutiny yesterday, so I hope there is no ill will for the distaste of the recent changes that I expressed. I'm glad you all are open to new Ideas and welcome our input. That is all that will be said about that. Let's bury that one for good and move on to a newer brighter day!

Again, I appreciate all that you do for us and I for one am excited to see the new improved changes come our way. If nothing else, I want to offer my assistance in any way that I can to make this as smooth and seamless transition as possible. Please feel free to call on me for anything I may do to assist any of you.

Since we are starting a new day, then I'd like to make a request to change my custom signature from "Skilled marksman" to "Ambassador of Good Will" I think this will be more fitting of my new outlook on this site. I'll be working on making a better effort to contribute to the site more productively and less time Shooting people down. Don't worry, I'll still keep my wise @ss attitude just to keep you on your toes.

Thanks again for your dedication and VIVA LOS G35 FORUM!

Dave

"Ambassador of Good Will" is lacking testosterone. I can't do that to you my friend. If I change it to that, I might as well put "Likes to pick daiseys while wearing a sundress" instead.

No ill will or bad feelings at all. I think I made that clear in my reply to your email.

I was working on getting the subforum early yesterday, but until I get an okay from the Admin, it wasn't my business to post anything about it.

Like it has been said before, NICO is family. I consider most of you friends.

Beanor,

I thought you were a Mexican for the longest time.

I'm also available to help. I sit around twiddling my thumbs most days, so let me know.
