Lol It does but not many people go for it for a couple reasons.1. You then have a drag car, the weight balance gets so out of wack.2. Look at it! Christ its a V8... its probly like having a baby... backwards.3. Its not JDM TYt3 ;)

1. I don't believe the weight balance would be thrown off too much considering its an aluminum block while ka ,rb's, and ca's are iron blocks, but I'm not sure about how much it weighs.2. Ive seen it fit in an s13 before, but very little extra room on the sides.3. I swear thats what is stopping me from doing it;)

If an LS1 will, an VQ45 will. Talk to Aries...

Aries is a LT1 not a LS1. The LS1 needs more custom crap. I could see the weight being off for anyone whos ever tried moving a V8 those suckers are alot heavier then a CA. Unless I was just really weak then.

Ok, well granted its aluminum... its not like comparing 2 aluminum cans versus a monkey wrench... its considerably bigger... its has twice the cylinders and 3.7 L more displacement.... The thing is a monster....

No problem hehe. I use to own a chevy LT1 95 SS Impala so I still keep somewhat in the loop with chevy motors.

And now you've come to Nissan? Not that I'm complaining! What brought you over from the world of V8's?

Well first it was a chevy then a 2002 accord.

The impala was nice, but it had a tendency to break down every two weeks got tired of the car and got rid of it (couldn't afford the price of parts and fixing it). Then I got a 2002 accord never planned on fixing it up, but some kid in a 84 suburban T-boned it doing 23,000 in damage. Then I finally found a 240 2 or 3 years ago for 2k it had eibach springs and a intake on it ahha... So here I am now. I still want to buy a Z06 ine day maybe one of the new C6 vettes hehe only domestic ill ever get.

Yeh, but most girls don't see it the same way a guy does. I gaurantee the C5/Z06 will drop more panties then a rb powered s13 vert would ehhe. I wish my car dropped that many ahha.

Its been done successfully with the VH41de (the 4.1L out of the 97-01 Q's.But the VH45de has been looked into and judged too wide.

There are acouple of older threads in our Infinit forum that discuss this, they include weights and measurements I believe.

Sokme skilful NICO searches with the right search words in it will ybring them up.

Sopadope on Infinit forums has a shop and got as far as a practice fit with VH45de.But he judged the engine bay too narrow ( barely) and w/o some body work the swap cant be done on the VH45de.But the Vh41de apprently works. But thats not as hardcore an engine as the VH45de.

Also keep in mind the VH45de weighs over 500 lbs despite the aluminum construction, due to its extreme over engineering.

Fred...:)

Yes. Actually it is possible, with a lot of custom fabrication.

There is this guy that posts on 240SXforums.com and others that has a Nissan Cima V8 in his S13 Silvia.

Here is the link to his website:http://members.iinet.net.au/~dcollins/silfiniti/
