WELL I GOT OFFERD A SCION XB FULLY LOADED FOR $18,500 MINUS OUR FLEET DISCOUNTS AND STUFF. IT'LL PROBABLY END UP BEING IN THE RANGE OF $12K - $14.5K. QUESTION IS: IS IT WORTH IT? I'LL HAVE TO SELL BOTH MY 240S FOR IT WHICH ISN'T A PROBLEM. ARE THEY PRETTY QUICK BECAUSE I KNOW THEY ARE ECONOMICAL AND COMFORTABLE. IF I GOT THIS SHOULD I GET IT IN AUTO OR MANI? MANI SAVES AN EXTRA $300 PLUS DISCOUNTS. DO THEY HAVE ALOT OF AFTERMARKET SUPPORT? BASICALLY IS IT A SMART BUY AND WOULD YOU GUYS DO IT?

Haha.... yeah get it and don't forget to post pics with it bagged on chrome 20's, neon lights, and 5 15" subs.... J/K I personally kinda like the way it looks.... but I have to say unless your into lowrider scene I don't think your gonna like it... According to edmunds its 1.5L 4 cyl puts out 108HP/105TQ at 2500lbs. So I don't think your gonna be goin anywhere too quick.... On the other hand it is deceptively roomy inside.... I was amazed when I sat in one. HTH

Blitz makes a supercharger kit for it, there is quite a bit of AM support in Japland for those.

I like the way they look also, I would go for it, but make sure you get the manual, I hate driving autos unless there is tons of traffic to be dealt with.

I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT ANYMORE. I HAVE ALOT ON MY PLATE I JUST NEED TO MAKE A DECISION.

OPTIONS:KEEP 240 AND DO A RB20/30 3.3L BUILD UP85 BLAZER1999 AUDI A4 1.8T QUATTRO OR 2.8 QUATTRO2004 SCION XB (FULLY LOADED)ANY OTHER NEW CAR WITH A LESS THAN $25K PRICE TAG (BEFORE FLEET DISCOUNTS).

I would highly suggest against ANYTHING in the VW family just because of their wiring. I have 2 cars tied up in my shop waiting for repair harnesses from Germany that have to be hand made to the VIN because the wiring changes so much on their cars.

Just my humble opinion, forget the Audi.

The rest is personal preference.

Or, sell the car, buy a new one and tax time send in one big payment...it will take a buttload off your interest charges that way.

If you look at the bottom there is a pdf but it is all in japanese, Do you know the chassis code for the car, NCP??

If it is NCP35 they only make it for the automatic and the Blitz part number is 10148 for the 1NZ-FE engine.

The file says that you need to trade in your stock computer and sometimes it is ok to use the stock computer. I am translating it through babelfish and this is what I get...

First year register July of 02? In case of August of 02, there are times when it is not applicable to the conformity chart by the vehicle. First year register July of 02? In case of August of 02 verification of genuine computer item turn becomes necessary Good luck with that. but in any case, I would look around for the part number.

i had an A4 and i loved it. I never had a wiring issue. If you were to ever go with the A4...get the 1.8t, there are TONS of upgrades and they can create quite a bit of power. PLUS, they look great. Just a small amount of modifications, and everyone wants it. The interiors are some of the best in the automotive industry. Here is a pic of my old Audi...sorry abou the dog being in the way.

thats a 96. Though it has mods to the front end....thats the S4 front bumper (it's actually cheaper than the A4 one). And those are european projector headlights (called e-codes). Never buy a 97 or earlier. a 99 1.8t is a good car. http://www.audiworld.com is where the A4 forums are. i use to hang out there all the time.
