hey i know this question is a little strange but i was looking at my motor (RB20DET) and started to wonder if there is anyway to eliminate the a/c and powersteering pulley's off my crank pulley. maybe an aftermarket pulley or have someone use a lathe(sp?) to get them off. from what I have found the rb20 crank pulley is not a harmonic balancer.

zer...28977 according to sil240's post.

ive done alot of searching and come up with nothing.

I would disagree about the stock pulley being a dampner. Finding one person stating that it isn't certainly doesn't make a strong case.

That said, http://www.rawbrokerage.com (coolwhip on the forum) has a super nice aftermarket crank pulley available.

i wasn't saying he was right i just didn't find anything agreeing or disagreeing with his post. I looked at raw brokerage and didn't see a pulley but i'm gonna look again.

they have a crank pulley but it doesnt eliminate the unused pulleys by the look of it.

I can set you up with the a perfect Ross Race Balancer for your RB20 that eliminates both A/C and Powersteering while providing the high level of dampering found in the other balancers we offer.
