off subject, but i would really appreciate your help!

hey i know this is really off subject but you guys in this forum/section are cool and know what your talking about so if you could help me out(actually my mom) id really appreciate it.

problem is my moms car. the other day it started over heating and when i checked it had no coolent. so i filled it up and when she drove it the next day it started over heating again and the coolent was empty. thing is it is not leaking onto the ground and i dont know if its burning in the engine cause there no smoke from the exhaust. one thing for sure is that inside the coolent tank and inside the radiator smelled bad.

any idea as to what could be wrong?? again i know this is way off subject but i couldnt think of anyone better to ask.(plus your doing a good thing helping out a mom)

wow i dont know what to tell you, except her car must be real thirsty and like the taste of coolant because that really isnt supposed to happen

have you checked your oil? I'm afraid you are lookin at some really bad news.

Weird.. are you sure there isn't coolant on the ground? If its not coming from the bottom of the car or the exhaust.. then its probably in the engine.. Good luck with it.. keep us updated.

yea i havent seen any coolent on the dround. its crazy cause i filled it up again and it hasnt been driven but the coolent still went empty but no leaks on the ground.

what would cause the coolent to smell funky?? its got like a rotten garbage stench to it. wtf is that??

Rot from never flushing the cooling system.

yea i dont think she ever had it flushed it. (mabey a couple times,i dont know. all i know is shes probly just ganna get a new car so thanks for the help.
