off set ?s

ive posted b4 about some wheel but deal fell threw so now im using my taxs money to get me a new set of wheels and i found them just dont know what offset to use they are 18s and i have opt. of 8 or 8.5 just dont know what to go with or what offset to use .. i really wanna go with 19s but tires are a b**** to pay for and i really dont wanna do that unless some one knows a good place to get cheap 19s .. so what size you think 18x8 18x8,5 what offset? or find a way to pay for 19 inch tires

What are your options, or are you just asking in general? Anything over 30 offset will fit with no problem, the lower offset you go the more flush the wheels will get with the car. Of course with that comes the fact that you might have to roll your fenders, stretch your tires, etc but that usually comes with wheels that have an offset of < 20 paired with a wide wheel.

I'm personally gonna pick up some 19x8.5 +38 for my A/C with my tax money as well. I picked them over 18s because IMO, 18s just look way too small. 19s are going to weigh more, but I'm more geared to having my car look good as opposed to being fast because I'm pretty limited when it comes to my CVT transmission anyway.
