Just wondering if anyone has seen a lift kit for the rogue yet? Also I want to get the biggest size tires I can on my rogue with the stock wheels. Basically big nomby tires. What's the biggest size I can go or is it even possible? I'm sure this all sounds stupid but whatever I'd like to try it.

Lift for a rogue? Not gonna happen. It's a unibody design (car design, not ladder frame like a truck) with a CVT and a 2.5L engine.

The biggest size tire you can go with is one profile size larger than stock, maybe two.

I think the only new'ish SUV that's liftable anymore is the FJ Cruiser. All the others are either unibody, or independent suspension and thus only have small 1-2" spacers available.

Not bad, more like little stuff, assuming there's enough clearance. You'll need to be aware that with bigger tires, your speedometer will no longer be accurate. And since they're off-road style tires, with street use, you can probably expect a little more tire noise and slightly lower gas mileage. Certainly nothing drastic.

So this is clearly an opinion but how stupid does all this sound? With the bigger tires how much more clearance will I get? I'm nt planning on doing off roading just going for that look and something different I a vechile that isn't done often.

Doesn't sound stupid at all. There's no rule that a vehicle must maintain a stock appearance or run stock sized tires. How much more clearance depends on how much bigger you go than stock. Most street cars should have enough clearance to go a size or two larger for tires without major modifications.
