of the following 16" sizes, which would you go with?

I have the option of the following:9x16 0 offset *The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 68mm~2.67"8x16 +18 offset *The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 37mm~ 1.45"8x16 -10 offset *The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 78mm~3.0"7x16 +18 offset.*The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 25mm~0.98"

I'm thinking my best bet is the 1st 2 wheels. However, I think perhaps the 9 inch would look goofy w/o fender flares or at least -3 of camber. Maybe 4 8x16 +18 mm would be the best bet? I was originally planning to run staggered wheels (9 rear, 8 front) but now I think perhaps all 4 in 9" or 8" would be best (rotation wise). That is unless I don't need to stretch the tires and can get around w/o staggering tires themselves. So which would you run?9x16 0 on all 4?staggered 9 rear 8 front?8x16 18 on all 4?or why not18x16 -10 on all 4?

NONE of those are a good fit on your car and you are treading on the slippery slope if you start dumping camber just to clear a wheel/tire.

I would pass on all.

An expensive lesson is on the horizon

16x8 +18 will fit very well.if your car is really low, roll the fenders (not pull), and if you need to, maybe a little camber, but I wouldn't anticipate much necessary. run 225/50/16 on them for a small stretch plus easier fitment if you are lowered. if you want wider, 245/45/16 like Greggio the Admin.

The other sizes are all pretty bad. You'd have to mega pull plus lots of camber to fit 16x9 +0 or 16x8 -10, 16x7 +18 will be sunken.

well, I just looked at general lee for some guidance, and this is how 16x8.5" w/13mm offset look in the front:

according to the offset calculator, these stick 20mm more than the 16x8 +18 which I'm considering, so I think they'll be flush.

the 16x9 0 I was considering is probably somewhat bad, because this is how 16x9 w/+19mm look: so, the 16x9 0 would only extend an extra 15mm (something that a little bigger flare can't fix). So am I totally wrong to base my assumptions on these pics, or do I seem to be on track?

16x9 +0 will stick out far.

What are you willing to do to make your wheel fit? roll fenders? pull fenders? stretch tire? camber? Those also depend on how low your car is.That will make choosing a wheel size easier. Especially since you seem to want it to be flush. (GJ!)

well, it seems the offset was backwards in "general lee", it's actually 16x9 +13 and 16x8.5 +19. Which means, that the difference is probably even less that what I originally thought. I think my best option as far as what I want to do (save money) is to go w/16x8 all around, and now decide on a good tire size.

hell yeah!! thats my buddy fedor! buy his rims, theyre damn nice and rare!!! (i also owe him money, so if you buy these to spare me time ) if you dont have a zilvia account and actually want his contact info, email me.

chingon, judging by the offsets, i know what rims you are going to run, because after the winter i will be running them too. now, before you go head over heals, i hope you like spacers..... (double check the spoke design/brake clearance) find someone and try a test fit. its rough. like i said, im determined to make them work.

hehe, can't beat the prices. But yeah, i am a little worried about spoke design clearing the 26 mm calipers...

It depends on what your choice of tires are (if you want to run "stretched" tires or normal fitting ones), but it seems to me your only viable option is the 16 x 8 +18's...And you're probably not gonna wanna run anything more than -2 camber unless you like shelling out lots of money for tires.

I have 16 x 8 +10's (rear wheels) with 245/45/16's on my S14 and the rear fenders WILL need to be rolled (just a standard roll-job, no pulling, flaring, etc...it just needs that extra ~.4" of clearance). It kinda sucks because they come SO close to clearing and only rub in the rear, and only on bumpy roads. And the s14 has bigger rear wheel wells than the s13. I have 16 x 8 +17's in the front and they fit VERY flush and don't need rolling...So 16 X 8 +18 would most-likely fit the S13, in the rear anyway, but still may require some rolling (not sure how much narrower the wheel well is...)

That was more pictures than necessary, but you get the idea

flush and no rolling = oxymoron.

btw, take off your mudflaps... please?

hahahahaha i was going to say the same thing. lol. although his car isn't stupid low like ours are. no way could i run a flush wheel with a squared tire with my ride height.

True, but if you look at the pics you know what I mean...they are flusher than 95% of the cars you see out there....I'm not sure how I'd even go about rolling the fronts if I needed too...because the lip is shaped like an L and on the bottom leg of this "L," it joins with the rest of the fender well, which I can't remember as to whether or not it's a splash guard or something not so easy to remove....I'm pretty sure it's a splash guard.

The car's pretty low...I can't imagine anyone wanting to run anything lower unless purely for looks...I need to watch where I take it as it is for fear of scraping things. But, I could always go lower...that's the beauty of coilovers...just need about 20 min and you can adjust the ride height on all four corners

And no, I will not remove those splash guards lol...took me forever to find them. For $50 or however much i paid for them, however, they add quite a bit to the cars look I think...

^^I agree about the mudflaps. Leave them on...I was thinking of getting some for my s13 from a junked one I saw once.

dammit.

there is a reason why people like me and him slam our cars as low as we can get them.
