If this day didn't start off wonderful. Yesterday I was working on installing speakers in my car. I brought her into the garage and put the top down to have easier access in the rear. She spent the night topless in the garage and this morning, my father moved her out so he could do some woodworking. I was getting ready for work and went out to put the top up and let her warm up. After I had the top up, I was checking the rear quarter to make sure dad didn't scrape anything (i'm way too overprotective of my car. I don't even trust myself sometimes) when i noticed that I had a crack in the plastic rear window. Great start to a "wonderful" day.
One of the auto repair shops quoted me $660 to get it fixed because they have to replace all of the cloth. They said the window was integerated with the cloth. Second shop wants $220 and they can just sew a new window in place. Much better, but still, I'm gonna be $220 poorer after they fix it. On the bright side, I just increased the look of my sleeper 10 fold :lol:
